Hey guys, would just like something clarified before I buy something. I'm interested in the Autobot Wreckers and noticed they have a book they released called Transformers: Last Stand of the Wreckers.
I'm not sure if its all in one or a stand alone story.
Because if you look at Amazon link there a few different cover with different Volumes:

It was a five-issue limited series. So you can buy:
a.) Five comics,
b.) A trade paperback,
c.) A hardcover or
d.) A signed, boxed hardcover with prints.
I would recommend 'c' as the best option.

There's also another option, as it's available in the IDW Collection hardcover series. None of the awesome extras though.
Get the single hardcover. It's absolutely worth the few extra dollars, as you get some fantastic extras, including another text story.
It's well worth it.

Sweet ill look into it. While I have you..I'm after the entire set of IDW Transformers Collection series 1-8 and was wondering do you guys know any good suppliers? They ranging from 50-60 even in the states.

Amazon's prices are pretty amazing for most volumes. Some are only $32US (not including shipping).
If you're doing a bulk purchase, and choose a reasonable shipping speed, the price will work out pretty well.
You could check local comic stores, but the prices are likely to be a bit more expensive, from my experience.
There's also the good old Book Depository, which can be cheaper, but IMO tend to be worse than Amazon for receiving dinged up books.
The content in them also makes them much more economical than the trades, so that's also something to take into account, along with the nicer larger format.

I was looking into this last night.
From Amazon US, some volumes are about US$35, but a few are up to US$45-ish, then you have to factor in shipping, and conversion to AUD.
Book Depository (bookdepository.com) has them for $46-47 AU with free shipping from the UK.
Book World (bookworld.com.au), which used to be Borders Australia's online store, is actually quite competitive at ~AU$50 with free shipping, and should have Australian stock. from their US supplier. They don't have all volumes available at present though.
You're only better off ordering from Amazon US if you're ordering more than 5 volumes at once, otherwise Book Depository is the better deal once you factor in shipping, currency conversion ($0.91 AU/US) and foreign exchange fees from your credit card (2.5%). For the sake of a few dollars more you could order from Book World and possibly get them sooner.
Amazon CA wins the price war with volumes at CA$32 each plus shipping but I've heard bad things about Canadian postage and people report that items can take up to 2 months or more to arrive.
There's also the good old Book Depository, which can be cheaper, but IMO tend to be worse than Amazon for receiving dinged up books.
For what it's worth, my last order from Amazon came was pretty beat up with scraped covers and crumpled corners. I've never had a problem with BD.

If you are planning on getting all the Collections, then maybe hold off on buying the Wreckers hardcover... Or at least be aware you're buying the same story twice for a few extras.
(that said I currently own "a", "b", "c", IDW Collection vol 6, and the Digital edition so I won't judge :) )

Same here. BD isn't Mint perfect but I take that as fine for the cheaper prices.

Yep, wreckers is in volume 6, though you'll miss out on some short stories, single page comics and assorted art work from the stand alone hard cover. Depends how much you care. :)
Vol 1-8 cover everything up to the The Transformers #31, which is the end of the last ongoing series, I think. Full volume listings here (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Idw_collection).

Oops, sorry, Book World actually ship the IDW volumes from the US so shipping time will be about the same as Amazon or Book Depository, as is the likelihood of damage en route.

Seriously, the hardcover version is pure delight. Aside from the presentation and story, there are SO many extras lovingly put into it!

$62.5 per volume doesn't sound too bad for a brick and mortar store in Australia. If you want to get them all at once, Amazon US is going to be the best value at ~AU$420 shipped. Personally, I'm ordering through Book Depository a few volumes at a time to spread the cost (they ship individually anyway). The chance of damage in transit is minimal and is likely to be superficial at worst.
