Ode to Sword Wing...
I miss the wing-sword-thing that Armada Starscream had. It was iconic and I am sad to see it go. I always thought it was the coolest thing choosing to use a noticeable bit of his character as a weapon (or not). The asymmetry was beautiful and though the original sword was clever i was looking forward to a better engineered one with this update.

Bringing back targetmasters is cool. And Starscream looks great except for his face. He looks like he's been hitting the HGH.

The minicon combiner has my interest but does it look to anyone else like the helicopter one is wearing knee high boots?:D

Some of that stuff is looking pretty sharp. Nice to see the Double targetmasters making an appearance. Bring on Needlenose.
Armada Starscream? Yes please. But no Minicon representation? Looks like the blasters will protrude out from his shoulders in an ungainly way. I approve.
G1 Sharpnel. Yes. reflector with a camera mode. NICE.

Damn, most of these are good. Not so sure about Whirl though.

Shame that SDCC totally eclipses Botcon for Transformers goodies though. Botcon almost looks fairly forgetful this year, and last year was the same as well.

SDCC looks like its more about toys and pop culture than comics :p

If I worked for FunPub (it'd be a much better club ;p) I would have a little chat with hasbro about being stuffed like this.

Always really liked Scoop. Much better looking toy than the other two Autobot double targetmasters. Wish they had kept him in the Wreckers team in IDW. And Tailgate looks a lot like his IDW appreance, just like Swerve & Skids so thats great!

Ode to Sword Wing...

I love how the Armada Seekers had the wing sword, sadly just clipping the swords under the wing is a bit of a cop out.

The photoshopped versions look great!:p

And the photos of the real thing look pretty good. I'm impressed that Tailgate got his own mold, rather than just being a Windcharger reapaint. Whirl looks a loot better with a coloured eye, and Scoop is looking good.

Armada Starscream looks good mold wise, but I've never liked his colour shceme much.


My biggest (reasonable) wish in generations now is that Hasbro would make Neddlenose for scoop to have a Targetmaster duel with. Oh and Nightbeat. :D

I did a year of Japanese theater in the second year of my Drama degree at La Trobe Uni - our damn lecturer never said we should have had super powers when doing Kabuki! What a cow! I would have enjoyed it alot more if I'd got to say 'I'm Kabukiman' and hurled magnetic chopsticks! :D
