Despite a few glaring issues (discolouration, poorly held together tank mode), this one is definitely my favourite of the four from this wave. He has an amazingly detailed head sculpt for such a tiny little figure, and despite the discolouration of the arms and gun, the paint application is absolutely top notch. He has a fun transformation, although the turret isn't held together very well, as the arms (that form the turret) don't clip together.

I haven't shown any pictures of the "targetmaster" modes with any of the four new legends, because, quite frankly, they all look ridiculous.

Ultimately, if you're getting Metroplex, then I recommend getting him. Megatron is easily my favourite of the four, and from what I've seen, all four of these guys are better than any previous legend class generations/RTS/classics figures. I'd recommend throwing them in with an import order, as shipping costs from the US generally end up being more expensive than the price of these little guys alone.

To be fair, the discolouration isn't as bad as the pictures make it out to be. He really does look much better in-hand than he does in photos, but he still looks nothing like the official Hasbro images such as these:

Welcome aboard :)
I was quite surprised when i opened my PoL and compared Megatron's actual colours to the Hasbro images, i was expecting a lot more grey. Doesn't take away from it being an impressive little figure though.

For those still on the fence about importing, these four figures are expected at Target ($15) and Toys R Us stores, i suspect in time for the September Metroplex release.

Bumblebee's alt mode is WAY bigger than those guys.

Oh the scale of these guys is just surreal. I mean.. Blazemaster is a helicopter, and he's freakin' tiny!

MEGS
Megatron doesn't look too bad in robot mode. I appreciate the little details like the yellow stripes from the Megatron Origins comic, and having a big cannon attached to his right arm should be a standard for all Megatron interpretations. Easy little transform, though its a shame his tank mode doesn't join up more tightly.

CHOP SHOP
I had to laugh when I looked at the instructions. To turn him from Robot to Insect you simply lay him face down - that's it! Thank goodness they gave him a minesweeper alt-mode to attach to the tank. Even if it is kinda silly it's at least novel. And great to have another Chop Shop after only 28 years ;)

Still yet to open my Prime/Roller combo, but from the four I'd still have to say Starscream is my fav main robot and Blazemaster is my fav Targetmaster, even if the most relatively unknown G1 homage.

So Chop shop is supposedly a minesweeper ei? hmmm Looks more like a pair of Scissors to me heheheh Megatron was a tailor in another life eheheh ( much like he's a hair stylist in another dimension) :D:D:D:p
