I'm into all of that 100% except the face.
I love how it manages to homage basically every Starscream that has existed.

Yeah I can't say I'm a huge fan. I personally think it would make a better Slipstream than SS/TC/SW.

I love this figure...look great.. the painted face look good.. A modern day starscream...
It would make a nice slipsteam also..just need to round up the legs..

I really like what they are going with but the face to me is a bit too 'Animated' for my liking. Having Starscream with a smirk is cool but not with an Animated face on an none-Animated body.
Hopefully the Animated look will not be so pronounced in following prototype shots as I really do like what they are going with overall.

I quite like the look of this guy. Maybe not enough to buy it, pricing is going to have a say in that.

How big is this toy gonna be? Anybody know? I like it. :) hopefully not too pricy...

Interesting, but they need to release a side profile picture. TF jets are usually muffin tops.

Yeah, actually looking at it again it looks like it will be a fat bastard of a jet mode. The legs just tab together and the feet fold up to be jet nozzles, and those aren't the skinniest of calves (and as a result of saying that I now feel like a horrible America's Next Top Model judge or similar).

It's going to be fatter than the movie starscream figures with the no hands but two guns type.
I'd love the smirk if it were meant to be a cross between animated and prime but its more of a g1- energon starscream homage.

the robot mode look very close to the idw comic concept

The body, yes.

Someone at TFW photoshopped the IDW concept head into the toy's body and it looks a million times better than the 'Animated' face.

That makes it look a ton better - the smaller head makes the arms seem less proportionally puny.

If it came out with a similar head to the photoshop - Certain buy.
Maybe the head is a response to all the Animated fanboys out there or a bad attempt at an IDW Starscream. To me it doesn't work, specially after people Photoshopped the IDW head and even MP heads on it making it look a lot better.

I too like the multiple homages and the IDW head looks MUCH better IMO. It would make a good Slipstream though, I think. ;)
Only other minor nitpick, but I guess it's a given, the classic Starscream transformation. Not that it's bad, it'd just be nice to see something unique and clever.

well hopefully they look at all the feedback and change the head... And also why make the legs so chunky that it will make the under body so big

i change my mind on this in finally figure... the plane mode doesn't look as good any more and the figure look abit odd.

The colors are still horrible and the second head is an improvement but not really good, at least not to my tastes.

Then again, why get this if you already have classics seekers?

It's extremely unlikely that I'll get these myself but seeing the vehicle mode being relatively clean and producing such a solid looking robot mode, I'm impressed and like it more than I did before.

I need to see all three, I do like Jet robots, they are more rare than car robots (think about it..). However I'm firmly in the wait and see basket. I like the sleek looking jet mode and the size is quite nice. the old F15 seekers are a bit on the small side compared to some other third party robots like Hegemon and both sets of Constructicons, still sclae in TF's pretty much unsolvable so it's not a huge draw.

How do you think he got so far in the Decepticon ranks? :p

there is a second head that is a lot more square. it's in one of the links above somewhere. it does look a lot better.

It is frustrating when they get so close to great design but fail it. I dislike the goofy head, the overly angry intakes, the wrinkly chest, and the very fat shins.

I feel the same way. Close yet so far.
If it had better colors and a decent head (the new one is better but still kind of crap) then this would be a must buy. Disappointing that they managed to get 95% of this toy right but failed at getting that critical 5% that makes all the difference for me.

All the Starscream releases in the world and that's what they come up with?
UltraMarginal

I like them, the original 3 coneheads were a basic modification of the seeker mold, they've reproduced that here making modernised versions of all 3 plane types. none of them are vaguely representative of anything in the real world but the original three were a very far stretch as well.
they're just way too much for my budget.(geez I must sound like such a tight arse lately:o)

nah there are better things to spend your money on like Masterpieces, Metroplex, FP Stunticons, MMC Predacons etc
to me these seekers aren't very innovative and aren't good updates to characters we need from 3Ps
Lord_Zed

I think I'd rather these seekers over Metroplex actually, however not the other toys you mention.
I actually really like the basic design, I really dig the triangular shapes. However they need to iron out a few bugs, and show me some real pics of the toys before I'm going to decide anything.
