Thoughts and opinions?
I enjoyed it, and found myself laughing pretty hard due to knockout towards the end. I'm looking forward to the movie to conclude the series.

It was a great episode... Knock Out was hilarious. It was a good end to the series and has setup the Predacons Rising movie pretty well.

Yeah, fun for a series finale although it got fairly dark at one point and go the kids! I also notice that Hasbro seems fairly serious about setting up it's super crossover thing Unit E.
They're already grumbling about rumors for the next series over at TFW2005.

Ya, a good ending. Though a lot of semi loose ends. I wonder what the next series would be? How they got rid of Soundwave.... now that was good writer's memory. :D I love it when they come up with such awesome solutions and it's something that was already featured in previous stories too. Hmm so that's how Bumblebee sounds like....
One thing though... in the chronicles of the Great war (at least in TF Prime continuity) how humbling that it took just a scout to defeat the greatest threat of the enemy haha.... :p

it was a good ending to the series ... i thought they might ended it in a cliff hanger and join it with the movie that coming up , which luckily the didn't...
The shot where the escape pod show there was 3 cybertron??.
and yeah loved Knockout .... Wish i didn't read about it everywhere on the internet about Bee talking either, it was plastered on every transformer site and facebook !:mad: , then it would have been a big surprise .

Liked this episode. It was a whole lot less Earthbound, but it was nice to see Cybertron in that state. Felt a great deal of passion when Bee was killed, feeling like Optimus' reaction was totally suitable.

Hasbro let the cat out of the bag with that upcoming Bumblebee toy with the voice chip which got the ball rolling. Damn it. :( *sigh*

Really really loved it... once again, TFP is not without it's many faults, but this is about as good as can be done given the point where we've been taken to. Was good to see it come back down to the main guys throwing down, without the mix in of Predaking, despite many of us expecting him to come back and play a role here.
When they mentioned about Soundwave pulling off another of his 'relocation tricks', I was thinking "And there you idiots go and pull off another falling for it!!" :) And yeah, Knockout again brings some great moments.
Megatron's end was nicely done... although I thought Bumblebee was somewhat transformed into Movie Bumblebee, i.e. the super skilled agile kick-ass warrior - look at the way he took on Shockwave, one of the toughest cons in this and every other continuity!
The moment the light came out from within Cybertron was spine-tingling and goosebump inducing for me... another scene done nicely.
The goodbyes seemed rather sudden, rushed, unnecessary and out of context... they've just won the war, restored Cybertron, and they do seem to be able to travel back and forth pretty much as needed. There is a little peace that can be expected now, so why doesn't it move on naturally into two planets coexisting, a la 1986 movie Earth & Cybertron?
Still, minor gripes aside... a very good series finale I can be happy with.

Because the Autobots are going to busy dedicating themselves to spearheading the planet-wide reconstruction of Cybertron. It's not just physical reconstruction, but also resettling former refugees, reestablishing territories etc.; possibly similar to the political unrest that we're seeing the IDW's Robots In Disguise. Ex-Decepticons or even some neutralists may not necessarily want to see an Autobot in power. The factions may even need to be formally disbanded (as they were at the end of the G1 war, according to Beast Wars (re: Pax Cybertronia); replaced with Maximals and Predacons). They're not going to have time to idly visit both worlds just for occasional visits.

Absolutely love TF Prime, my wife even got sucked into it. Lets hope the movie moves into the direction of a new series of similar quality. Honestly I am surprised they aren't rolling with this but I guess with TF4 coming out we will have it's toys warming the shelves for a couple of years.

I really like TF Prime as the "new G1." Written by Americans, animated by Japanese... and honestly, compared to the G1 cartoon the writing on TF Prime really is so much better and far less campy than the G1 'toon. :o Having said that, I still consider Beast Wars to be a superior show.
I really wish Hasbro would go back to developing the TOYS first and then have the cartoon adapt itself to the toyline instead of co-developing toys and cartoon together. I really do not like this current format of co-development. I can forgive it for the live action films, but beyond that I just don't see it as being necessary at all.
I'd like to see TF Prime continue too. I'm sick of seeing Hasbro just throw away and reboot continuities all the time. I can understand taking a hiatus during the next film, but I'd like to see them continue TF Prime after the movie, and I reckon they could if they really wanted to. BH has a clean cut ending, but isn't dead ended like Beast Machines. If it were up to me, I'd start the series being say 10 years after BH ended. The kids are now young adults and spearheading Unit E, which has grown into a global special task force hunting down rogue abandoned Vehicons - kinda like N.E.S.T., but with just Ratchet as the sole Autobot member of the team. Captain Jack Darby is the team leader who answers to General William Fowler, and Mrs. June Fowler is the team's chief medical officer (who in turn has helped Ratchet learn a great deal about human medical science). Miko would have returned to Japan a long time ago after her exchange study in the US had finished and would be the head of a Unit E branch stationed in Japan that looks after the Asian region. They could even have that annoying kid from TF Go! (but as a young adult) also being a member of her team. You'd have at least the first ep or two focusing on just this little story arc, before creating an excuse to bring more Transformers to Earth. I would NOT introduce Megatron - he should just stay dead. But perhaps Shockwave or even Starscream could return. This would then prompt Optimus Prime and other Autobots to follow suite, beginning a new saga on Earth but this time with humanity being better prepared and more suited as allies to fight alongside the Autobots.
I've always liked the idea of an Autobot-human alliance, the problem w/ the way it was done in the live action films was that it focused too much on the humans and detracted from attention of the Transformers as characters (thus the Transformers ended up being more like accessories for the humans ). But it could work well if done right. Heck, Rescue Bots strikes a better balance between Autobots and humans working together than the films! ;)

Totally awesome episode. Great way of finishing of the series.:D:D and bee finally talking was great, especially where he says "megatron" and at first I thought it was smokescreen. Have to agree there are still a few loose ends but maybe a tie into the next cartoon I'd like to think.:D:D

I assumed there were the two moons and Cybertron, but for whatever reason the moons were rather huge. Let's just hope they didn't land on Airachnid's moon hey?
Knockout, GOLD! Wish his toy didn't suck so much. I really want an FE/MP Knockout and Ratchet

I thought that too. Shame as the rest of the episode was pretty good. I don't know about you guys, but if I was one of those kids, I'd be all up for going to Cybertron! :D
So does that mean Predacons Rising will take place mostly on Cybertron? That would be nice!

To be honest I was a little underwhelmed with the final episode. It was good, don't get me wrong, but to my mind it wasn't as great as many of the preceeding episodes. I think I'll feel it's more of a conclusion when I see the DVD movie later this year.

Ha! Yeah, I was thinking the exact same thing. It looks like it takes less time for them to spacebridge from Cybertron to Earth than it takes for me to drive to work, and I don't have a tearful goodbye every time I go from a to b with my family and work collegues.

Think of it like say the last day of high school where some people get all teary because they're not going to be in the same school anymore --- even though most of them are still living in the same city. It doesn't happen so much with kids these days cos they got this thing called social media to keep in touch... but certainly when I finished school there were a lot of emotions from some people.
