Officially their alt modes are all described as "Dragon," but here's a bit more detail:
Blight: A "Godzillarised" reimagining of G1 Blot's alt mode... whatever the hell that may be.
Hun-Gurrr: Double Headed Dragon -- actually says so on the card, the only one who's alt mode isn't described solely as "Dragon."
Rippersnapper: Godzillarised shark-dragon.
Twinstrike: Orthus
Windrazor: A bird monster with dragon wings. Reminds me of G1 Divebomb's Cybertronian alt mode (http://tfwiki.net/mediawiki/images2/0/09/SwoopVsDivebombUKAnnual87.jpg).

**Colours (predominant)
Blight: Dark blue and lavender w/ yellow highlights
Hun-Gurrr: Off-white and maroon w/ yellow and silver highlights
Rippersnapper: Silvery grey and blue w/ yellow highlights
Twinstrike: (see Twinstrike's review thread)
Windrazor: Green and cream w/ yellow highlights and purple wing membranes.

***Weapons
Blight: Affliction Hammer (same mould as Twinstrike & Prowl's weapons)
Hun-Gurrr: Dragontooth Saw (same as Smokescreen and Soundwave's weapons)
Rippersnapper: Electrocharge Bow (~Bumblebee, Airachnid & Windrazor's)
Twinstrike: Piston Hammer (~Blight & Prowl's)
Windrazor: Tornado Bow (~Bumblebee, Airachnid & Rippersnapper's)

I voted Only If. As in, Only if you are very loose with your definition of combiner.

Is there any indication anywhere, on any of the packaging, that this guy does indeed combine? I couldn't see it. There are also no instructions on how to combine him which sucks a bit. Any kid that buys these guys and doesn't see promotional images somewhere is going to have no idea

Anyway, I took some pics this morning:

Anyway, it's hard to take this guy seriously as a combiner. The individual robots are pretty good. They show some clever engineering. But I seriously believe Abominus was an afterthought.

I only bought them all because it was one of those things that was so bad that I loved it. And I do, in a weird sort of way. It helped that they were only $7 each. Any more and Hasbro could keep them.

So, in summary, I bought them knowing what I was getting and I even like it. But I wouldn't recommend it.

I've had these for a few months. They are crap. Combined mode is questionable to say the least. And they feel like they are going to snap when transforming them as joints are very tight. Shame they are not deluxe size.

Maybe you got a bad set because the joints on mine aren't tight at all. In fact Hun-Grr's could be tighter. It would make Abominus less floppy.

And these are being up scaled to deluxe size. We should see them next year. Although I'm not sure if they will still have the ability to "combine" :p

They won't be able to. They've removed the connectors

It's interesting, I don't think I've seen a photo yet that has blot transformed as a leg, the same way I do.
I'll have to post up a picture when I get some time.

It's possible that they have moved the pegs to the centrebot and left peg holes on the two arm figures.

For me, I like this set as the individual toys are reasonably good and solid Legion Class figures on their own. The fact that they can combine is a bonus. I wouldn't go so far as to say that the combining gimmick is an afterthought, because figures like Hun-Gurrr, Blight and Rippersnapper do have several features that explicitly serve to allow for combination and also affect the rest of the engineering of the toys; whereas Twinstrike and Windrazor pretty much just have pegs on the inside of their legs that allow them to attach. But I do agree that this isn't an excellent gestalt, even by the standards of the size/price point. ROTF Legends Devastator was a much better designed gestalt for this scale, and especially considering the challenge of translating one of the most complex CGI models (that burnt out ILM's computers) into a little toy -- what HasTak were able to pull off with that toy continues to impress me.

But for $7 each, I think these toys are worth it for the individual figures alone; but if the gestalt form bugs you that much, just don't ever combine them. ;) What I can't help wondering is if whether or not this toy will become the next Monstructor (and the JP repaint the next Dino King); i.e. toys that garnered relatively little favour at the time of their release but end up being more high demand (and thus w/ massively inflated prices) on the secondary market years from now. ;) But one difference I've noticed is that whereas the Pretender Monsters were never exactly hot items, these Legion Class figures ('cept Twinstrike) seem to be flying off shelves and are incredibly hard to find -- especially Blight, Rippersnapper and Windrazor!

All 5 Terrorcons will be available in the next wave, along with Jet Vehicon

Do you know how many Jet Vehicons per case?, he'll be quite hard to find especially when most of us want to army build.

I'm keeping mine sealed for the moment. I haven't been a fan of any of the Legion toys but the homage is nice. Looking at Gok's comparison pics, Cutthroat/Windrazor is the clear winner in those stakes.

Nope. Something that people will post in the future in the "Things you never knew about Transformers" perhaps? They might get a clue when the 5 pack arrives in store (if we get it).

The instructions to combine are included in the gift set and there's scans online here. (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/beast-hunters-abominus-instruction-scans-now-available/28028/)

I'll have to compare that to mine when I get home, I have combined mine but my blot especially looks different to others in leg mode.

Look, for this one, I did have it, however, I think, I would not recommend. It cannot stand well and the joins are very loosen.

I quite like them. The individual bots are nice and a pretty good homage to the originals colour and looks wise and I think they look like a good team in both robot and dragon mode.

Abominus is a bit bleaurgh, but then that fits in with the abomination theme with these guys in a way, so I don't really hate it, it's just a nice add-on for me.

I'd be surprised if the combination method for these was strong enough for a deluxe sized version.

I was a bit annoyed that the pegs for the arm guys have developed stress marks the first time I combined them.

Great to see that while those instructions show you how to form Abominus, they dont' show the steps to get the configuration for Blight and Rippersnapper in.
