Ratbat is a repaint of the Generation Scourge, it has a new head, with signature Japanese metallic paint.
I must say that this is one of my favourite especially in robot mode. It capture the comic version of Ratbat quite faithfully.
The paint job was not really well done this time as the shoulder gold seems to be a bit uneven.

The helmet was my favourite part to this figure - really wish they design more transformers with animalistic helmets! Scourge's long fingernails work really well. I didn't have a problem with the gold paint-aps from memory, however both pistols on were insanely difficult to slot in.
Here's an earlier post I made with him in his unofficial bat-mode (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=364706&postcount=2159) :)

When i saw the alternate head sculpt on Scourge's instruction sheet, i had hoped it would have been Leozack. I must admit, the more i look at him, the more he is growing on me :)

I would really like an updated Classicsverse Leozack with a headsculpt based on this image (complete with smirk).

For that reason, I've been slow to chase down Botcon Leozack (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers-toys/view/exclusives/leozack/1780/2/50/) - he's got the correct alt mode, but the bot mode or headsculpt is not quite there.

Absolutely love this guy. Paint job is pretty and looks great in the Japanese packaging, which is how I'll be displaying him for a short while. Can't see any obvious flaws in the shoulder gold like Jim has, so hopefully not all of them are like that :)

I really love this figure. From the moment I took him out of his packaging I was blown away by how fantastic the paint job is on this guy! The purple, gold and black together really pop!
The head sculpt is fantastic, looks so much like the Megatron Origins version! Really looks noble yet nasty at the same time with a bunch of bat-helmet thrown in for good measure. This figure screams 'Corrupt Senator Ratbat' in waves!
Transformation is the same as Generations Scourge. Found it a little more difficult simply as the joints were very stiff and tight on mine on his arms, and conversely his hip joints were a little loose so was initially hard to get him to stand straight.
Overall a fantastic figure! I am getting more and more sold on the Takara imports, much to the lamentation of my bank account. Now to finally bust out my Universe Ratbat and do some comparison pics ;)

Nice! I bought Overkill from Hursticon a couple of months ago, will have to give it a try. Personally for my version of him in a bat form I go this direction:

At least you can feel safe buying the TakTom version of these sort of molds, as Hasbro has said that pretty much all the pre-DOTM stuff is simply not doable with current budgets and pricing.
So sad we never got Hardhead out of Gen Warpath. That was a potentially interesting one.
