Got the family holiday in 2 weeks in Surfers

As a Victorian just wondering if any of the Qld members have any good tips on TF or other collectable stores etc in that area?

Even on the the hunt at Toyworlds and TRU for any classic inspired figs for my son....but also chasing items for Dad

Thanks in advance guys

There was one shop, near the shopping centre in Labradoor. Had a bunch of Henkeis and reissues with typical prices ($50 for a Henkei deluxe, $399 for eHobby Guardian). Of course this was in 2009, so it's probably gone.

I'd personally love to see pics of Transformer toys at exotic locations (e.g. beaches etc.) :D I was in Cairns last summer and took some pics of Transformers at Trinity Beach and the Great Barrier Reef. ;)

If you are into more vintage stuff, a friend of mine at work told me of this place at Coolangatta (https://www.facebook.com/20thCenturyAntiques), which I haven't had a chance to check out yet, but sounds interesting. (it wouldn't have anything recent like Transformers, but apparently has vintage toys)
