Hi Forumers. Just wanting to know about your experiences with Reprolabels? I re-acquired the G1 seekers today and a couple of stickers are messed up. I heard about Reprolabels through Vangelus on the TFW2005 podcast and there are sticker sets available for them, so just wanting to know if anyone has dealt with them and what your experiences have been.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Bought from them a few times with no problems at all. Am putting in another order in the next week or 2 as well. Always arrives with a week or 2, but I have heard of it taking a bit longer.

Usually takes two weeks for items to arrive. cheap postage as well $2 :). The Stickers are good quality too. Ive had a lot of my G1s 'freshened" up with Reprolabels stickies. - there's a thread somewhere here showing the reproed figures if you wanna have a gander. No problem encountered with them so far (e.g. missing stickies, wrong set sent) but yeah delays have been reported to happen.

Only issue i had was when i placed an order for a few & they forgot to send one set. One email later and it was here in a week. Apart from that, no dramas whatsoever.

I echo the sentiments everyone's expressed thus far, also, you might find this thread (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=9525&highlight=reprolabels) (Although slightly old :p) useful. ;)

Personally I haven't had any problems with Reprolabels. Several years later there is no peeling and they all fit perfectly.

As others have said they arrive quite quickly. I only ever had one problem where I received a label sheet with black marks across it and one end had wrinkled up. It was replaced immediately and the customer service was wonderful.

Always had great experiences with them.

Ditto with everyone here. Been buying from them for a few years now & never an issue. Highly recommended! :)

btw, if your gonna start removing them old stickers from your figure, use eucalyptus oil - just soak the stickers - apply using a cotton tip wait for a few minutes - say 5 mins at most then youll find it easily peels off. just wipe the figure with damp cloth or tissue to remove any residue - does not harm the plastic and leaves a fresh smell on your TFS heheheh - also less strain trying to scratch off the old stickers from the figures

Thanks for the tip liege! I ordered some Soundwave, Starscream, ThunderCracker, Skywarp, Ravage and Bumblebee labels. Removing them was going to be the next question. Thanks again.

No worries, glad to help. oh and afterwards do wipe the eucalyptus oil off with ordinary rubbing alcohol soaked cottonballs, easy as.otherwise the new stickers will peel off easy as well, but the alcohol dries it out and clean the surface of any left residue (not the odor though).

Hey just wanted to check what is the longest time anyone's had something arrive from Reprolabels? Made my first order from them, got an email saying the order was shipped October 16th... so it's 3 weeks now.

I assume it's a flat envelope rather than a box, and therefore should come faily quickly...

A fortnight seems the average, indeed comes in an envelope but doesn't mean it'll come any quicker though. ;):)

Thanks dude... I'm usually patient but expected this to be here by now. It was US$60 for a bunch of stickers, so that's partly why keeping a beady eye out for it.

Crikey!

Yeah I don't blame you dude, might be worth checking with your local post office to see if it's sitting there waiting to be picked up ;) - Also, depending on how many stickers you've ordered, it may of been too thick to send in an envelope and hence will be in a small package which COULD take longer. :o

Yeah, looking at past posts, looks like prices have gone up quite a bit over time. I ordered all 3 sets for Green Giant, two symbol sets, and the RTS Jazz set... So it's not that many actually, but sure adds up!

Yeah it does seem that there's been a bit of price creep over time, that's to be expected I guess but yeah there are some expensive sets (Look at the MMPR ones!) especially those that they've had commissioned, such as those for 3rd party figures & "upgrade" sets. :o

A glaring omission to their stocks is any sort of repro sets for Euro G1 (G1.5 :p) and Generation 2 figures! :(

A bit of a delayed post here, but the envelope finally arrived after about 45 days... I have to say they have excellent service response too as they have posted out replacements after I reported that it hadn't arrived after nearly 6 weeks. Have been busy stickering up my third party stuff with the faction logos I ordered as well as using those transparent white ones they gave as a bonus.

Finally got round to doing my Generations/RTS Jazz last week, and IMO the photos on the website don't do the result justice. It looks a whole lot better in person, and unequivocally enhances the figure. Jazz had an embarrasing rear end with a shocking lack of color... the sticker set fixes this no end, making it look better than any unaltered Hasbro or even TT deluxe figure I can recall.

The product is not cheap, being stickers, but for the right figure, it can make a huge difference. I think I'd stick (yeah) to this approach of choosing to get only very specific sets. A non-discriminate approach would be... expensive.

It could be because it's the holiday season. I ordered a set but it was through bbts odly enough.

My faith in postage from Canada has been rather shaken from experiences in the last 12 months... one of the very few eBay items that have failed to arrive was from Canada (user had 100% feedback score at 100+ so likely not dodgy), and another one took over 2 months to arrive (had to open a PayPal case initially).

I didn't realize ReproLabels were based in Canada at first... it seems strange to me that postage from USA has never taken anywhere near as long for me. Had read a joke somewhere that in winter, the reindeer Canada post uses can get bogged down by weather, and in other times melting ice floes can mean having to back track or take a longer way around :)

At least the Kangaroos we use here usually only get stymied by huge bushfires and the rare major flood...

realising that ReproLabels are using Canada post makes me practically uninterested in buying anything off them. I've never had a good experience with Canada post. EVER.

I didn't know they were from Canada either but the longest I've ever had to wait for something from Reprolabels was 2 weeks.

Waited 7 weeks for some Metroplex labels before informing them they hadn't arrived... offered to send a replacement no worries... 4 weeks later a set arrived though with no date stamp on the envelope I don't know is its the first lot or the replacement.

Keen for some Citizen Stack, Hercules & MP10 labels but just not keen on the wait!

I just made another order too... its already getting to me that ill be waiting for so long!

I asked if they offer any other shipping option as whatever they use is dreadfully slow (and I think unreliable), but they wont unless you order over $200 worth.
