Generations 2014 Figures to come with Exclusive IDW Comics

I was just inspecting my Pre-orders from BBTS when I noticed that the image for Generations 2014 - Series 1 had changed.

It now shows Goldfire, Dreadwing, Waspinator and Skids coming with their own IDW Exclusive Cover Comics, packaged in much the same way the the series of 5 Spotlights came with the Orion Pax/Hoist/Megatron/Trailcutter/Thundercracker figures.

This begs the question - will these characters be getting their own Spotlights? It seems unlikely as we would have heard something by now. More likely they will be comics from either MTMTE or RID that prominently show these characters. With Skids and Waspinator this is easy as they already exist, and Goldfire will undoubtedly be a major player in Dark Cybertron. Dreadwing though - are we likely to see a comic where he is more than Shockwaves current sidekick? We shall see.

I think it has been stated before that these figures will come with the issues that make up the Dark Cyberton event. (Or the issues leading up to it - Skids is supposed to come with MTMTE #22).

Not bad. Beats me having to shell out the dough for some of the issues, want to get into MTME. I pretty much want all the figures except maybe Dreadwing. Waspinator will go on my classics shelf (he was in MTMTE, notably Spotlight TC.:)
Once I get Rhinox though, that may change. ;)
