Just came across these via UpgradeCommander. Nothing new for those that have been actively following third party updates (if you are new, the links also contain video reviews :)). First 3 releases now available.

So far looks like the whole set will be about $340ish + $50ish for shipping.
I really like FP stuff, however do not actually collect - so do not know where these guys would sit in my collection.

It is very nice however I think Tuskor is a bit too blocky (even for G1).

Do they have a healthy stock? or is it like a number of other retailers that have had those 3 since TFcon this year as they were available in extremely limited quantities? :o

Those member prices are sweet. I'd be expecting Tusker to be $75-80 at those ratios against Upgrade Commander's price pointing.
Looks like it's going to be $200 for the full set, but then unfortunately shipping may cost $100 (1/3 of total cost :().

I really want these figures but I'm just not willing to pay $50 for postage of the pair, I'm going to hold out until the other members are put up & hope that stock remains until then. :o

Might be a bit of a stretch, but if postage was to remain as $50 for the set, it'd be fantastic. Currently their shipping option only allows $50 for 1-3? At $100 for 5, that's $20 each which is almost ordering each one at a time.

Dear FP Core members,
We just got word from our freight carrier that due to a catastrophic event, our entire shipment of Megazero figures has been destroyed. Here's the message quoted from our carrier:
=========
"We regret to inform you that your part of the goods does not reach. You have shipped the whole amount of RF-GB03 action figures, RF-gb04 action figures and RF-GB05 figure. In your ship launch, we find a mistake, one of your product is improperly moved to another shipment container. When we tried to find the right product and during exercise lifting RF-GB05 megazero, all box RF-GB05 has breached the side of our transport ship and has been lost. The CTNS has sunk in our oceans, is not able to efficiently retrieve. Coincidently the crane operator was examining your megazero product for his own enjoyment when he was not pay attention to what he was doing and caused this mistake.
This is our mistake, we will work with you to quickly resolve this issue and provide assistance to restore your product. We are very sorry for this, and can not give more consideration to your situation. In any case we will help to ensure that your product can recover for your customers. We have notified your manufacturer dispatch of this situation by phone, they will provide more information to us today."
=========
We at FP Core are devastated and can only picture in our minds what a cruel demise Megazero has had sinking to the bottom of the ocean floor. We are working on a solution with the manufacturer to make sure that all pre-orders get fulfilled ASAP. We are informed that we will still receive the same amount of figures produced as originally intended so we can still stick with our release plans as closely as possible.
We will also be shipping out Tusker and Razorspike as they arrive. For those who have already ordered Megazero together with Tusker and Razorspike, we will ship Megazero out at our expense when he arrives at a later date.
We will keep you updated on this situation.
Thanks for your continued support!
I only pre ordered these yesterday
On a side note I'm after tailclub and fangro

Wow! What a bizarre event. Now we have hudreds of FP Megazero toys sunk deep under the ocean floor! I wonder if some treasure hunter hundreds of years (maybe a thousand) from now will find it as some ground breaking historical find...or loot.
At least people will be getting their Megazeros during this age even if delayed.

It's not an uncommon event. Depending on who you believe, anywhere from 350 to 10,000 shipping containers fall overboard any given year (There are usually around 5-6 million in transit globally at any one time).
Shipping containers aren't weighed before they are stacked so there is no procedure of putting the heavier ones on the bottom and light ones on top, which contributes significantly to the problem (https://www.google.com.au/search?q=shipping+container+overboard&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ei=wZqnUo6lM8ybiQebkoCoCA&ved=0CAcQ_AUoAQ&biw=1600&bih=1075#imgdii=_). It generally occurs when the ship hits a storm or high seas. And the companies have been known to simply push a few containers overboard rather than risk losing more.
You also have the occasional dodgy ship captain/crew who know that there is something of worth/value in them and so that container goes 'overboard' during the voyage. Sydney Stevedores used to be like this. They used to pillage broken containers and take what they wanted. The government cracked down finally when they realised the wharfies grew greedy and were no longer satisfied with broken containers and started breaking into ones that had nothing wrong with them.
(I have a family member who used to drive trucks through the wharf and saw it all. They used to try and sell stuff to the truck drivers

They definitely need to capitalise off this by working it into a story with an appropriately-Engrish title, maybe along the lines of:
"Ambush of Space-Stevedores from Planet Patorikku! Brave Megazero's Sacrifice!".
Make sure the title is the first thing the viewer/reader sees, no spoiler alert is necessary :p
You know, like what happened with Ultra Magnus (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Ultra_Magnus_Dies!!) and Shirogane (http://voltron.wikia.com/wiki/Death_of_Shirogane_the_Hero) :p

The obviously made-up story about the Megazeros being lost by a crane operator playing with a Megazero is a joke to 'explain' why the toys are coming in Sonokongesque Korean packaging.

My final three Glacialords arrived today too - annoyingly they had been opened by customs, but there doesn't seem to be any real damage except to the boxes. I love the 'sun fading' on Tusker's box and the 'Korean' Megacero.

There's nothing in the instructions or packaging about Tusker's third mode that we saw in early images. Do you think the mode is meant to be or a 'fan' mode (not a Fansproject mode)?

I'm not sure if the one above is right, but I do assume Fansproject intentionally designed a third 'base' mode of some sort, like Onslaught's battle station mode, Motormaster's ramp mode, Hot Spot's repair bay mode, Scattershot's rocket launcher mode, Silverbolt's launching ramp mode, or Hun-Gurrr's soft serve ice cream dispenser mode. For me, this sort of configuration seems plausible:

I'm almost certain they did dude, considering the lengths they've gone to with everything about these "Retro-Future" figures, it seems practically impossible for them to of omitted such a thing - I'd go so far as to say that they've deliberately omitted the reference, as this was the case with the Hasbro releases of the "Scramble City" combiners wasn't it?

The Hasbro instructions had all the modes except for Hun-Gurrr's one-armed bandit mode - in fact instructions are pretty much the only place most of the modes are even referenced. Hardreturn at TFW2005 has worked out that Tusker also connects to Metroplex!

Announcing Fans Project Glacialord Pre-order #2
Fans Project Glacialord
When Fans Project conceived the idea of Glacialord, there was only one thing in mind – provide fans with more than just a toy. The goal was to create the nostalgic experience of collecting in a different era for long time collectors as well as new prospective collectors. As long-time collectors ourselves, we understand better than anyone else that one of the most rewarding and satisfying feelings as collectors is finally completing your hunt after embarking on a far and wide search. With that in mind, Glacialord by Fans Project received much support and interest along with many positive reviews. We’re delighted that everyone who supported this concept early is happy with their Glacialord combiner. It was fun and exciting to read and be a part of some of the stories that the fans shared with us. As a result of Glacialord's success in bringing back happy memories, we would like to offer everyone who missed out or second-guessed themselves on our first pre-orders, a chance to own the full set again.
The second pre-order of Glacialord will be open Sunday March 2nd, 2014 at 2:00 PM CST. There will be two sets available for pre-order: The first two limb releases Fangro and Tailclub will be sold as a set of two, and Glacialord as a complete set of five (Fangro, Tailclub, Tusker, Razorspike and Megazero).
