I'll call again later to see whether the nice lady there actually put one away for me like she said she may if she was there when they opened them.

Weird! Did you say it's Acid Storm and not Soundwave? I had a bit of trouble getting that point through yesterday... They kept telling me they had sold out even though I knew the shipment hadn't arrived, but was due Tuesday.

Called Castle Hill after failing to get anything from Parra. They had 1 Acid Storm left in stock so I reserved him.

I think with all things it's hit and miss.

Retail isn't the most forgiving job, and when you have 10's of people calling about an item you've never even heard of before (in 99% of cases) - you'd end up getting frustrated and giving 'standard' answers.

But you do get people who know all the ins and outs and comings and goings and they're the ones who go the extra mile to look on pallets, know when shipments are coming in, etc.

Went to grab Acid Storm today (seemed Parra had reserved one for me, thanks fine TRU lady :))

When I was there, she also asked if I wanted more, since she just had another 2 arrive, but 1 was enough.

Going to cancel my Castle Hill reserve tomorrow morning unless someone wants to PM me and grab my name/number that I had it reserved under (runs out tomorrow COB anyway).

My frantic checking stores and calling is over... phew

I picked up an Acidstorm at Chatswood TRU at lunch today, got it reserved this morning.

there are none on the shelf but if you call they may have some out the back. I think they are sticking to the 1 per customer rule for the moment.

Got one reserved at Aspley. Staff member rang me earlier today to tell me they now had them in stock as I was chasing the Masterpieces. I went in there a few months back to ask about them and I put my name down for them. They didn't ring when Soundwave became available but he was highly apologetic that they didn't ring because he was not on that day. Was amazed they called but it reinstilled hope that putting your name down does actually work, with the correct staff member.
I told him I had ordered 2 SW online and have received my dispatched notice and that he also shouldn't lose any sleep over not ringing.

Anyone in NSW after an Acidstorm should head over to TRU Liverpool, they have at least 10 of them, saw them with my own two eyes.
3 on the bottom shelf and 7 stored up on the top of the shelves.
Sadly no MP Soundwaves though.

Just been into TRU Knox and a member of staff was putting two Acid Storm's out on the shelf. I grabbed one so there is one left for any Melbourne based collectors who are still searching...

These are around, many stores don't seem to be putting them on the shelf, if you're still looking for one it's definitely worth calling up to ask if they have any stock.

Went to TRU Tea tree plaza - saw the price of acid storm - for sale at $69.99!! No stock there though
