Another pair of Transformers themed Nikes

This comes as no surprise, but the American footballer Calvin Johnson, with the nickname "Megatron", has a pair of Nikes coming out soon... to go with that Megatron toy, if it ever gets released.

Actually it did get release on selected footlocker store here in Sydney initial release was yesterday, if anyone is interested good luck though this is a rare sset of kicks

I was referring to that Megatron toy (done in purple and comes with a football) never getting released... at least, not that I've heard yet.

So if the shoes were out yesterday, did anyone here try to get them, or succeed?

Saw 'em at Footlocker, but they don't seem to be anything special & not especially transformer-ish. I don't really like Nike's pop cultere themed sneakers which are often only loosely tied in. The MF DOOM dunks a fews years back are a nice exception though.

I've got two Nike pop culture pairs - the bumblebee's and recent Iron man inspired ones, but these don't grab me. Need more black ;)
