In light of the 30th Anniversary MP poll (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=16293) i was thinking about what characters would we have in an Australian poll? So who are the Australian-ish Transformers? Aussie bio's, accents and fauna included.

Realistically I'd like to see an MP Outback because it could be easily developed in tandem w/ an MP Brawn (similar to what they did w/ the Nissan MPs). That'd easily be the most viable for TakaraTOMY IMHO. That, and I also really want an MP Brawn because I'd like TakTOM to focus on completing all the 1984 Autobots as MPs (since they've already done all the Deceps ;)).

They still have to do MP Reflector Gok. He's becoming a regular G1 Skids nowadays with people treating him like an obscure character :p.

BUt yeah Agree with you Outback (with gun of course) would be good, as it can be easily redecoed into Brawn - or they can do Brawn first then Outback. :D

I'd happily support a Masterpiece Outback. As a kid I loved there was an Aussie character in season 3 of G1. However I'd like to see the MP come with speech sound bytes and perhaps come with a Masterpiece Skullcruncher or Gatoraider

I liked the idea of there being a Maximal who turns into a Playpus. He'd be a bit touchy and short fused since he always gets grouped with the Fuzors. None of the other Maximals would see why he was frustrated by this.

MP Cybertron Jetfire would be great if they could get rid of the gaping hole in his abdomen.

Otherwise an MP series of the minibots would be awesome, Outback/Brawn, then Swerve, Beachcomber etc...

Reflector's a 1986 toy. I'd like them to focus on completing the 1st year Autobots first. Having said that... I have to remind myself that as far as the Japanese are concerned, their first year of G1 TFs are the 1984 and 85 Transformers combined (re: Fight! Super Robot Life). So to most Japanese collectors there's no difference between say Prowl and Smokescreen as far as chronology is concerned (whereas Western fans would see Prowl as a 1st year toy and Smokescreen as a 2nd year toy). So they were to aim for producing the 1st year of toys as MPs, they're just as likely to produce say Inferno/Grapple or even Laserwave as they are to produce say Mirage or Windcharger. :o

I didn't know when this toy was released that 'Fallback' was the new name for 'Outback'. If I had known I probably would have picked him up since he was a recolour of Movieverse Brawn
