One of the concept artists for Transformers toys, Ken Christensen, has revealed some concept art for some of the Movie BotShot toys (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/bot-shots-45/transformers-dark-of-the-moon-bot-shots-concept-designs-178818/)... and saying that he did concept art for Dino/Mirage and Soundwave.
We finally got a Soundwave BotShot about a year later, based more on the Animated version, and a red Mirage was released in Japan... but it sounds like they would have had original Movie car versions.
