What are your thoughts lads on Titan available at TOYS r Us retailing at around $200 ? I'm thinking about buying it but are there cheaper/better alternatives around ? It is battery operated but i not sure why.
here is a little run down on it............(It's the largest transforming robot EVER. Standing over TWO FEET TALL in robot mode, the Autobot's ultimate weapon is METROPLEX. This gargantuan sentinel transforms into a rolling battle platform and yes, a CITY the Autobots call their home. METROPLEX is an imposing presence that must be seen to be believed - perfect for a dedicated collector, a brand-new fan, or a child who always wanted a little brother.)

Id insert an image or two but i am not sure how too. :) Its like the one posted previously in the matrix resource guide...Under Generations Toys by Griffin. .. Cheers :)

There are about 10 different threads about Metroplex on here - I suggest you have a bit of a look around the different sections to find the particular info you need. In particular Ratbat's Reviews should help

In relation to your question I think a) yes you should get it if you're a fan b) the price is because TRU have more limited retail outlets compared to big w for example c) check avail abilities or members sales here for better prices?

As far as regular pricing goes, you're looking at

$110 CostCo
$148 Big W
$149 Target
$199 Myer & TRU.

Check Outback's Australian news, members sales and their websites for their catalogue offers. Big W, for instance had him in sale for $98, Target usually have 15-20% off toys etc

Just thought I quickly add, $139 if I am not wrong at local TRU at the moment with sale and there are a few in Moore Park Sydney.
