Saw the transformation video of brain storm by peaugh and it was really well designed. The collapsible chest/cockpit is done really well from what weirdwolf had so I'm looking forward to seeing how they engineer mindwipe.

Man I can't wait for this one, it's looking like I'll have to forego Smart Robin at this point sadly/annoyingly :( - I WILL NOT be missing out on Mindwipe however.

Yeah I gathered that, as it's slightly obvious, but...

...this is more as to what I was getting at as each of the preceding figures have had their names derived from one form of word-play or another, so was curious if anyone had picked up on what Mindwipe's is. ;):)

ROTF Mindwipe is one of my most favourite of the Movieverse figures and I too was/am looking forward to HeadRobots Upgrade kit. :)
To say that it leaves FansProject's iteration for dead however? - one must have heavily askewed tastes. ;)

I like Mindwipe with a stockier build, just like his toy and anime iterations. That being said, both those modes were ridiculously overweight especially the toy.
Also glad they chose not to be anime-cartoon accurate when it came to his face:

TFW (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/3rd-party-unlicensed-41/new-3rd-party-toys-at-botcon-2014-180443/) has some new pics of Look.at.me (and many other 3P toys too).
I took the liberty of changing the levels so you can see more detail in the black areas:

He looks nice, don't get me wrong, but the touches of green or something are making it look a bit less G1 than X1-3 are. Hopefully now that we've seen colour, he'll be up for order soon!

So far every entry in this series has been total win in terms of quality, sculpt, and transformation joy, words fail me with this series, they are just soo good so far.
So I cannot wait for this guy to come out, forget finishing Feral Rex, or getting Fanstoy Swoop, this is now my most anticipated toy.
Note to FP make more of these, and faster, and then no the Horrorcons and Targetmaster please. :D

I really loved the ROTF Mindwipe, a brilliant design in a fantastic Alt Mode and fit the Movie Universe to a T in my mind.
This Mindwipe looks to be a brilliant modernisation of the original headmaster concept. I haven't seen quad U yet but the other 2 from this line have been surprisingly impressive. I don't even collect many unofficial transformers products.
I wonder if the Hasbro offering of an official headmaster(as seen at Botcon) will effect the overall sales of this guy?

It never really has unless the 3P ends up being crap which given the high standards track record of this line, I highly doubt it.
However it does work like that the other way around too. If Hasbro makes a crap toy, fans tend to ignore and flock to the 3P although Hasbro would always make their numbers in store sales so it is of less impact than an badly received 3P.

And this guy does look very good. it's a question of whether this is a one off effort or if it's the start of something more longer lasting.

I like that the headmaster head mode is new but the robot mode is very G1. Also glad his release falls alongside MOTUC Intergalactic Skeletor, pile of loot will hopefully reduce the shipping burden of that from BBTS.

6-8 months by my count, this last one has been the longest wait so far, sigh!
I wish they could half that, or speed it up so we could see Skullcruncher this year, rather than another 6-8 months away.

My BBTS haul came in the other day and so far, due to my new living arrangements, this was the only one I have had time to open.
He's fantastic. He doesn't have any of the transformation tricks that he others have but the transformation is very elegant and intuitive. Not to mention he looks completely badass (sorry to use an Americanism, but sleep deprivation is taking its toll on my vocabulary :o) I hope to get some photos in the next few days but very pleased with this guy.
Hursticon is going to love him :)

Got mine recently too and concur, he's very impressive. They've really carried the bat theme through nicely, with a coffin for the headmaster cockpit, dracula-esque collars in robot mode... and if i'm not mistaken i think even the plastic for the black side of wings has a very subtle leathery texture presumably like a real bat.
I was expecting a little more to the transformation (based on what's come previously) but what it does do, it does well and doesn't really need much else. I really like how the robot hands fit so snug into the shoulders of bat mode, so they don't really stand out like obvious robot hands.
His wings are quite large and solid, so there can be a little droopage on the shoulders, but mostly he holds poses fine. The waist rotation on mine is a little loose, it could have done with a locking mechanism similar to Prime FE Starscream, but no real complaints.
Visually he fits in perfectly with the other 3, although for some reason he's a good head(master!) taller than the others. I wonder if any of the future releases will also have varied height - i did like the consistency but having a few more vary a little will balance things out. The height and wings make him feel a good deal heavier than the others; one of the first things i noticed was just how solid every single piece of him is, so far removed from recent official figures and really seems worth the money - more so considering the price of these hasn't changed.
And finally, i was pleased to see his chest is juuuuust big enough to fit the smallest Decepticon sticker i have - and a silver background sticker looks great with the silver detailing on the chest as well! Another great toy only making the wait for the rest of them even harder!
