Ha! I picked up one of those in a little art shop in Glasgow. You wind him up and little wheels under his (what is it called? a robe?) make him hoon all over the place :D

20 was the official amount... but I'd suspect the number would be a little higher - just like the 500 Black tracks, 500 my ass!

Heh, reminds me of a fan cartoon made years ago (might've been Shortpacked); Takara exec meeting about the colour scheme for the next limited exclusive toy, they spin this "Wheel of Fortune" style wheel and the choices are: black black black black black clear black black black ;)

Apparently it was only 20 (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sixshot#Generation_1), but since it was completely black like Tracks, it would have been easy to Knock Off (like Tracks)... and all those transparent white Gen1 "reissues" that hit ebay during that time as well.

i have seen the black sixshot & transparent sixshot on sale in the Jungle shop in Osaka. So there's really such a thing! I think the black was going for 250,000 + Y & the transparent one was 350,000 + Y? Can't remember the exact figure now. But both look amazing in person!

But how often would Australian fans win a Japanese lucky draw prize toy? (the fact that these competitions necessitate a Japanese postal address would exclude a lot of non Japanese residents). AFAIK I'm the only member of this community who's ever won one, and it was only once. ;) Heck, even the Japanese TF fans that I know of have never won one. :o

Heh, thanks. :) The funny thing is, I didn't even actively/consciously enter the competition and was quite surprised when I received the toy! eHobby had automatically placed everyone who pre-ordered Megaplex into the draw. It was probably mentioned in the preorder page, but I was too busy going, "Shut up and take my money!" so I didn't notice it. :p I remember receiving a box with TFC Smokescreen, Megaplex and the lucky draw toy (G1 Bluestreak reissue entirely in silver chrome) and at first I was like, "What? I didn't order this," then I read the accompanying letter congratulating me on the win. From confused anxiety to elation in a matter of a minute. :p
