Haven't seen this yet, but tformers.com today posted a bunch of images and it looks very cool. Posable, nice style, light up everything (inc. Matrix!)

Can he transform? The photos only show bot mode in various poses.

Prices on some online sources: RK (http://www.robotkingdom.com/kltf001.html), Chimungmung (http://chimungmung.com/product_info.php?products_id=1385) & BBTS (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=KLG10028&mode=retail).

Don't think he would transform but that is just a guess. Hmmmm - the cheapest is $95. He is lovely but that is too expensive for a 6 inch figure, especially with all the Generations toys coming out and movie toys only 6 or so months away

It's like a more affordable version of the Ultimetal Prime.

So many lights and details. Looks very pretty, if I had the SD Roadbuster I'd be considering this for sure. as it is, I'm tempted.

Man if those images are not lying I'd totally get this baby over the Ultimetal Prime. However the cost is still significant, definitely a collectors item rather than a toy.

That is so true. Most of these Licensed third party transformers related items are aimed at our "collector" market. Priced out of a childs budget to start with.

I keep getting mixed up with these guy and the Topeam TSD01 (http://toyloonatic.com/shop/topeam-tsd-01-super-deform-convoy-transformable-model-kit-preorder/)which is transformable kit , and there is also one more superdeform optimus as well from another party .....

Very nice- even if it doesnt transform :p
On a serious note, i dont collect G1 Primes that dont transform, but this piece is very tempting.

Excellent Toys CR-M01 Ptolemy (Optimus Prime)

Which is also an excellent parts former but has parts for either IDW or G1 prime

Seibertron (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/new-gallery-kids-logic-mecha-nations-01-optimus-prime/29058/) put up a gallery of him today. Looks amazing, I might add him to my POL even tho I don't normally collect non-transforming merchandise.

he does look good... but again the pricing is what really putting me off from getting him

I would've forked out the price they're charging if it were transformable. I don't care for the light and removable parts gimmicks.

Just got him in the mail. He comes in a massive box for an average sized figure. Has a metal display base. When his batteries run out will need 5 sets of 3 AG1 batteries and a set of 3 AG3 batteries. Has 3 replacement hands, Ion Blaster, Energon Axe and Creation Matrix. If you are a MISB collector beware of the fact he DOES NOT COME SEALED.

Here is a link to some pictures of him. (http://www.flickr.com/photos/21116457@N06/sets/72157640233559406/)

Nice pics DeltaPrime. That is truly an oversized box for a 6" figurine.

He's incoming ....... for the missus.

A very sweet figure, gonna have to give him a miss though due to current spending. Hopefully I can pick him up further down the line when things get less crazy.

I can haz "Kids Logic SD: Soundwave" now plz? :D

The online video ad is such a tease with its silhouettes, should a Soundwave ever make it to release I'll be all over it; A poseable, better looking, Mighty-Mug with LEDs? - Yes please!

Megatron is yet to be unveiled and the above are all pics of prototypes so final appearances may differ. ;)

These are smaller figures than the Optimus Prime released December 2013. The Megatron might be the same size as the original Prime and therefore not part of this range.

I really want Soundwave but I think I'll hang out for a Soundwave thats on par with my Optimus Prime.

I'm disappointed these aren't the 6" height of their recent release of Optimus Prime.

9 cm figure is a tad small. And it appears to have less amount of LED gimmick when comparing to the 6" OP.

Apparently its being sold as a 5 pack for $99.90 @ RK (http://www.robotkingdom.com/kltf015p.html)

not sure if april fools or not. most likely not.

I would't worry to much about fewer LEDs, the cost of a full set of batteries for Optimus at Big W is nothing short of robbery. I'm not looking forward to replacing the batteries in the future.:(

What sort of batteries does it use?
If you remove batteries from all the Hasbro TFs toys (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=12178) that are sold with batteries in them, you might have a few "free" ones that might give a little power before they run out of their short (cheap) life.

That's $20 cheaper than the pre-order with BBTS. Do you have to pre-pay for pre-orders with RK?

Yep they also look nowhere as 'premium' as the first metallic prime figure, also will have less poseability. The weapons also look like they're welded to the fists, though they may have interchangeable fists like the metallic prime?

On the upside you do get like 5 of them for the sameish price.

from the description on BBTS it says they're static. the elbows look like they aren't a joint and so they all might only have neck and shoulder joints. so basically shiny little statues with light up eyes.

Did anyone here order this set directly through Angolz? I believe the release date is june/july (nowish) but has anyone received theirs yet? I haven't heard boo since they took my money back in April?!

I won't be getting these, the smaller ones in the set of 5 don't have anywhere near as nice a paint job, much if any articulation and overall, just don't appeal.

Sorry for not seeing this post earlier. Anyway the 6" Optimus uses 15 really small watch batteries in the body (3 per LED set), then 3 even smaller watch batteries in the gun. They are smaller than any battery Hasbro uses.
