Okay so I have just about got one each of the MP characters but I am finding Thundercracker to be the hardest to locate. Just wondering if anybody out there has one sealed in box?

Bueller....Bueller...Bueller...
So would anybody be interested in swapping Thundercracker for an MP Soundwave or
MP Acid Storm?

Perhaps it's worth ordering through a mail forwarding service like PriceUSA?

Is the Hasbro version considered superior to the taka?

Depends on who you ask. The TT version is the MP03 whereas the Hasbro is the MP11 redecoed.
I prefer the MP03 mold in alt mode as opposed to the MP11 mold.

I like the plane mode on the TT thundercraker as it had small printing on the wings and a much dark blue .... but he is very hard to get cheap these days...
