Not enough of one! That's one thing that really bugged me about that story, and it's one of the few Furman written G1 stories that I really don't like - the other being Arcee's origin story. To make a really long whinging post short, I just don't really like stories that "over-humanises" the Transformers in a way that feels somewhat unbelievable. :(
