Hello Folks
First new custom for the new board. Sorry to the Sydneysiders for not making it to the meet yesterday, but I had a bbq at lunchtime that went well past dinner. About 11pm last night I started this new custom and just finished it this arvo.
Custom Classics Runabout is just a black repaint of Bumblebee with clear red windows and a slight head resculpt.
What do you guys think?

That looks awesome! its amazing what one can accomplish using existing molds with a little imagination.
Hasbro, take notice! A change of head and color can make a huge difference!

Very nice work.
I was suggesting this back when last year's Botcon set was announced. This, and/or a white and orange one as Runamuck would have been a nicer pair than getting Bugbite.

I think you should put it up for sale or auction.
Beautiful work as always bro.:)

I cut the sides of the head off and added small putty sections and carved some grooves in it, then I cut off his chin and added the mouth plate with putty as well. Then I stuck the original chin back onto the mouth plate. Not too difficult.
If I ever get the hang of a good white paint job I'll try a Runamuck.

Thanks man. As usual, he will be for sale (to help pay for more TF's to customise)... so feel free to start the bidding!

How did you stain the clear plastic red?
I painted it with clear red paint. It's not very even but you can't really tell.

Veery NICE, cant wait for the runamuck version.

That colour combo is very nice, esp with those orange front lights.

I really do not like bumblebee repaints, that much but man that is great.
