hmm....he has so much ahead of him, and not like as if he can't act.

will need to follow up.

He's just retiring from, "public life", so I assume he'll just get his clothes and food online and when he needs to work just get delivered to the set in a wooden crate.

Is interesting how media assumes one thing when they cannot verify it themselves. Obviously they are allowed to twist and turn the story so they get more views.

Well he got busted doing something he shouldn't have done, apologised and did it again; at this point it's like he wants attention or is just embarrassed I really can't tell anymore. So if Mr. LeBouf wants to retire from public fine, I have more interesting things to do.

Not the last we will see of him, I assume ;)

Hmm... that sentence either has one too many negatives or one too few. It's okay, Shia has some to spare: http://youtu.be/8IXCK1EyP4s :p

Sounds like he's gone a bit nuts. He will prob regret this in a few weeks when he realizes quitting acting means quitting the big bucks.

Seems unlikely the story has been faked by the media given the sky-writing, but the media does make stuff up. I remember reading "Dirty Jokes & Beer" by Drew Carey, and in part of it he lists all the complete bullshit stories the media played about him. Even one where he was on an all-potato diet and was recommending to the actress that played Mimi to do the same. Got tons of air/magazine time and it had never happened. Said he was lucky that for the most part the bullshit stories made up about him were still fairly positive.

Maybe he saw how much attention Beiber got when he "retired" for a day in December (yes, we all thought it was the best Christmas present ever, until he took it back), and thought the extra attention might help his career. :p

Does this mean that he realises that since he is no longer Michael Bay's go to boy that he sees his acting future filled almost completely with direct-to-video movies? Cause the prospect of ending up like Steven Segal would terrify anyone into retirement.

Seagal's TV commercials are arguably more entertaining than his films. :p

Have you actually watched any of his recent movies? Because that comment is only true is you discount everything he did after Under Siege. And being completely honest Tommy Lee Jones made that movie what is was anyway ;)

Ummm, I have all of his movies :o Personally, my favourite is The Glimmer Man but yeah I'll agree that his more recent movies aren't as 'polished'. Also have movie posters and an autographed photo hanging up :D

Hey! You can't stop the Bieber Fever!:p

A musical god? I'm a fan of his martial arts skills (he has helped train Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida) and some of his movies but he should be arrested for his C.Ds.

I did like The Glimmer Man. Although he was a little bit "hefty" in that movie, they disguised it well with raincoats and various props. I also think the back and forth with Keenan Ivory Wayans helped carry that movie along.

Vaguely recall watching that movie as a kid. The only character I remember is the young lady popping out of the cake and doin' her dance routine. :o

For some reason, I still recall the Martin/Molloy joke about that movie: "It should have been called 'The used-to-be-considerably Slimmer Man'."

I have fond memories of one scene in The Glimmer Man:

Jack Cole: [regarding a dead Russian woman's chest] What do you think?
Campbell: Perfect tits.
Jack Cole: Yeah, a little *too* perfect.

Then they slice em open in some detective work that would make CSI's Grissom proud!

I think this has been posted in the wrong section. It's understandable, given that the tile is "Other Toys - News & Sightings". This is certainly news, but Share LeBeef isn't a toy - he's a tool.

I don't think anyone cared enough to notice. :p

I saw on TMZ the other night, that Shia has been a bit of a bad boy lately, with a couple of drunken brawls... and a very drunken rant about how he's just a "super normal" person.
He's not taking retirement well.

Shai Lebouf was just at an art gallery exhibition. This is how a TMZ reporter described his encounter with Shai:

"I walk into the gallery. A lady is standing behind a table with an assortment of different items apparently related to his life: whip [from "Indiana Jones"], a Transformer [from "Transformers"], Jack Daniels [he likes to drink?], bouquet of daisies, cologne, pink ukulele, etc. I pick the bottle of Jack and the lady escorts me to the next room separated by a curtain.
Shia is sitting down, paper bag on his head, hands firmly planted on the table. I introduce myself, offer him tacos. No response. I tell him I find the bag to be distracting and if he'd be willing to take it off. He obliges.

His eyes are red and puffy as if his cat just died.

I tell him this all seems incredibly self-serving. No response. I ask him to share a swig of whiskey with me. No response. I ask him if any slimy characters have put their lips on the bottle -- he breaks into a wide smile. Then immediately his face returns to its regular stoic self.

I tell him I think he's a good actor who's wildly misunderstood. I ask him if I can take a picture. No response. I say I'm a nice guy, please don't punch me in the face. I take a picture. He doesn't move. I thank him for his time and extend my hand -- he shakes it. I leave."

The guy has gone off his nut! Soon it will be him and Justin Beiber sitting around a table in their 30's talking about how they used to be famous and stuffed it up, wondering if they can get on the latest season of 'Celebrity Rehab'

Either it's a strategy (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/shia-lebeouf-experiencing-what-may-be-mental-breakdown/29403/) to get media attention to further his career, or, Shia's reflecting on his life choices and just wants to end it all. But since he's been under heavy scrutiny lately (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shia_LaBeouf#Plagiarism_accusations)for quite a bit of plagiarism in his own creative works, it could have finally got him to admit he was wrong, or will arrogantly sulk off and kill himself. I guess if we see his suicide in the news in the next week, we'll know for sure.

Well he seems to have taken to the 'paper bag' routine, this is the second time he's done it. Whether it is for attention from TMZ or not who knows.

Oh, I forgot in my post before to put in the link to the art gallery story:
