I have some, mostly the Gokiagers and the two Sailor Moon characters out. Oh, Gavan as well. I quite like them, but since the line is made up of different franchises, I think we have just put them in the franchise thread. Nothing from stopping you making this a Figuarts thread though.

News and reviews always welcome here! I quite like the look of the Monster-arts (do they count?) Godzilla. If you want to go crazy and keep the thread updated with tamashii nations info, I am sure it could get going quite nicley ;)

I collect the dbz figuarts, I have all of them except ss vegeta and the comic con goku. Both go for crazy money now so I'm hoping for a reissue of vegeta or some luck finding one for a decent price in japan next week

They always seem to reissue the hot figures where prices have gone skyhigh, and also they're doing ver 2.0 for the older figuarts.

There are not as many rider fans on here as there are on international boards.
I only have a few non-riders from the line including some DBZ and the Dragon Ranger.

And yeah the Ultra-act line has been out for a while now.

S.H.MonsterArts. One of my favorite lines from Bandai right now. Love the Destroyah and Ghidorah figs.

I collect the classic diecast metal armoured versions that are no longer in production as well as the larger 6" SIC riders that really detailed and poseable.
Way better than Figuarts anyday IMO :D (I know this will stir up some disagreement in this thread! LOL)

I wont say they're not good. I still love what they're doing with the figuarts. I also would like to see a kamen rider kiva figuarts to compare with the souchaku henshin one I have.

The early figuarts had die cast feet. not anymore :(

ive got 1 only. SIC Ryuki.

They look good, however they also feel very fragile :( So i didnt get anymore.

Yeah the SICs are very much posable works of art IMO and not built for play.
They do have diecast metal parts and accessories which really feel awesome.
I'm not a fan of the smaller SICs... I think those were built for play really.

Yeah, they ARE pricey... can't deny that.
Plus shipping they absolutely killed me!
Most of my SICs are still MISB as I've got no place to display them.
The few that I've got out for display, they seriously rock.

Some of my riders currently on display.
They're mostly the older souchaku henshin ones.
You seriously can't beat that retro 80's feel with the metal diecast feet and armour :D

Yeah. Lol. Bit of a mess with my Riders as they're all stacked on top of each other.
When I've cleared up my excess toys, I'll open the SICs for display.
That'll be a good one.

The display case is actually quite small. its the Ikea Detolf (http://www.ikea.com/au/en/catalog/products/70182172/) 43x37x163cm with 4 shelves.

I think theyre pretty good for these figuarts since they aint really big in size, but pretty big in their details which is what i like. and their boxes are small so its easy to keep them in storage.

just gotta try to limit how many you put in one shelf with some elevation :)

so if you have spare floor space with 43x37cm and $150, im sure ur wife should be ok. looks good next to your tv!

Those pics of my Riders are from my detolfs... so yeah, they're very squashed! ;)

i use these clear plastic marketing materials holders. i use to order these at my work and I'd order a few for myself.

so they end up being pretty good little clear stages for the 1/12th figures.

also a few clear plastic cases. but dun have many of these.

Yeah thats right.

MMPR was based on Zyuranger Super Sentai footage and the Zyuranger had 4 guys and 1 girl in their team (well 5 guys after the green ranger joined). So the Sentai release is the male version of the suit.

I think it is distributed by Bluefin Tamashii Nations in the western markets and they are doing the female version. It is just the Pink Ranger mould but without the skirt.

SHF Freddie Mercury in his 86 live at Wembley outfit.

The proportions are a little off. The head could stand to be a little smaller, or the limbs are too thin, and the shoulders too narrow.

All 3 heads are fantastically sculpted and painted, and you can't really ask for more at this scale.

I too find the ankles a bit limiting, but at the same time they help holding various poses. I was amazed myself it can pull off the pose in the last photo without a stand

Quick question: I'm keen on starting a DBZ S.H.Figuarts collection, but where do I begin!? I've noticed some figures are 2.0, but which ones? Where the heck should I order them if I'm in Australia? Cheers for any assistance.

But why need to be Australia? Obviously we know pc is cheap but slow and unless you can pay money upfront and wait, I suggest go JAPAN sites?

Nippon yasan is my recommendation even for tfs if you can't wait. I buy from them mostly if not hlj or amiami

no problem, take note that Nippon yasan and Anime export have Bandai exclusives. Meaning items that only supposed to be sold at premium Bandai website. Normally other stores will need special connections <this includes PC if they sell a limited edition Figuarts.

I wont be surprised if you have found a new store to have reliable TFs coming at reasonable time frame. In terms of service though, HLJ and Hobbysearch seem to be excellent compared to other Japan stores. I think Nippon Yasan has a no cancel policy < though if you went with pay later option and didn't pay, I don't think they can force you but they may blacklist you.
