Also just found out that my house got broken into last night but luckly they didnt take much. Looks like they left all my G1 TF collection, HDDVD/Bluray discs and thousands of dollars of Anime cels which I am really glad. Looks like they took a black money tin though with over $200 and two passports which is going to cost $600 to replace but I wont know till I get back home on Friday *sigh*

Hi guys,

I couldnt afford the crazy prices going for a Raiden set these days so went with a Diaclone version that I spotted at a good price. Worked out better actually as it comes with 6 drivers and the rails that the later released versions dont have. Stickers not applied on this figure but are included. The seller told me its complete and only missing 1 instruction for one of the figures. Anyone see anything else missing. The 2 guns on the leg is there, I just didnt attach it for the pic.

So, it finally arrived after much anticipation.

Kyle, even you get burnt and you are the source of info and contacts. So orion, I wouldnt worry too much. I have had thoughts I paid too much for a figure but in a couple of years, I end up knowing the figure I got was cheap compared to today's prices. Like Kyle said, its the toy you want.. Money will come and go.

Skystalker, A Grail Item for me since it was such an ordeal to get him. He is not perfect however, I still need to fix a broken wing and the main canon's stand is missing but overall I am just happy to get it after three failed attempts.

Actually, I did. I only ordered them last week when prices became more moderate and after combining with Dirge the shipping price for each figure went down to something that I am very happy with.

Overall, I didn't pay much more than one would have for a retail Titanium in AU.

Anyway, waiting any more would have either caused the remaining figures to sky rocket in price as the supply diminishes. Also remember that since it has been confirmed that there will be no retail Toy World release, it became the best way and time to do it.

Both much nicer in their shininess than standard editions, especially Jazz, but Premium Bumblebee still doesn't hold a candle next to the brightly shining flame that is Lawson's Bumblebee.

The raiden diaclone set still wasnt cheap. This little piece set me back $600. It was expensive but the closest condition to this is an MIB set going for 3 times the price on eBay and I havent seen one under a thousand for a few years. Reprolabels is a great idea. I dont really want to use the original labels. Thanks Gok.

Anyway, like Kyle says, the toys maynot come around again.

Anyway RK orders arrived this morning, pics up later. I noticed no one has yet posted acquisitions of Encore Ratchet and Ironhide's plastic heads, I got that in the order too. Will update tonight. :)

Encore Ratchet and Ironhide with their new heads. I've gotta say it makes them look much better although the heads cannot rotate left or right. I also love how they can be folded when the figures are transformed back into vehicle mode, making it look like totally part of the figure itself. :)

- Energon Bruticus Maximus: the limbs are slightly different colours to the Superlink ones. I think the only one I like more is the yellow tank which fits the Swindle motif much better. While the Henkei colors are more g1 accurate, the dull gray has a much more KO look than Hasbro's.

It's pretty good. The shirt is 100% cotton decent quality. The print is quite good as well, nice and vibrant. It could have been brighter but that was my fault when I was adjusting the image. The image I got from botchthecrab, emailed him to say thanks for the nice scans from his site.

And very nice komikskolektor! The Turbomasters are among some of my most valuable toys in my collection. My Flash needs replacing but everytime I look at a Turbomaster I have that just brings back so many childhood memories b/c they're the last survivors of my Cybertronian exodus. Boss was always very cool in car mode and while his transformation was a pain for me as a kid, I actually like it a lot now.

the colours are very vibrant & it seems as though he's hardly been played with (not that I'm complaining :))

to transform him, You pull on the tab which makes his head, arms & legs pop out. Then you extend his arms, extend his legs & fold his leg panels around.

He's got articulation in the shoulders & elbows but the only thing he doesn't have is a gun... :D (which means he's of no use to Prime or Megs :p)

Overall,
I really, really like him - He's awesome! He'd have to be one of my favourites (I bet you can tell :D)

I'm guessing not that many TF people are interested in him but if any Sydneysiders would like to see this guy at the Parra Fair Meet-up, Let me know & I'll bring him along... :)

I've got the recent JP reissue of OP, which has beautiful metallic silver and red paint, but the head with faceplate down (and beast mask). I think the chest is a bit different to the older figures as well.. but i'm the opposite, SilverDragon, i'd prefer the faceplate up head of llamatron's figure)!

I personally like the new heads (and paint job) much better than the original. That also goes for Primal's Gorilla head which looks more realistic and menacing.

You're joking right? hasbro did a pathetic job with the 10th Ann line. It was as if they were painting them from memory. The people at Takara however, very nice.

I got the hasbro ones just to get the bits to Transmutate but have since sold them and got the Takara ones which are superb, plus the incentive of Tigatron and Black Arachnia which Hasbro didn't do.

I bought some Transmutate parts 2nd hand from people who got the reissues but didn't want the parts, I picked up Waspinator (he's the only Hasbro reissue that I thought was okay) and I grabbed Dinobot for the Transmutate part and sold the toy off to kuzzy. :p I got the Takara reissues of Dinobot and Cohrada and they are niiiiiiiiice. It's cool how they come with DVDs too. :D The animé-nerd in me gets off from listening to a lot of the famous voice actors in the Japanese dub (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Aq2niGcjF0c) (especially those from Weiss Kreuz like the bishilicious Koyasu Takehito!) :D

When it comes to the BW 10th Anniversary line, I really don't mind them. I know that Takara did a much better job but Hasbro's were still rather good in my oppinion and I prefer their paint jobs more than the originals even if Hasbro did not do them no where near as cartoon accurate as Takara.

I've heard this 'lost mould' rumours shite before. They said that they'd lost the mould for original Rattrap, thats why they released the TM version.

Has anyone checked with the BotCon people? It seems that whatever glorious BW figures get spat on for that convention the mould then dissapears. And now the same with Ravage.

(Although the Ravage one dissappearing might not be so bad, for those of us who have one, cos now they're worth more :P)

yeah..you never told me about Sinnertwin...well, just my bad luck.
i couldn't take it out and should have used the screwdriver to remove the legs of Hun-Gurr instead i used the "force" which didn't do me any good.

Have you looked in Bunnings for some high quality superglue? (One with a bonding agent)

I can't remember which brand I've got at home but as long as you follow the instructions to the T, It bonds the parts together perfectly... :)

I picked through and choose the ones with the best paint jobs, but I'm admittedly not that excited. I've already had a play with Sunstreaker and Prowl. Blaster seems ill-imagined. The only one I'm excited about is Heavy Load, as recent repaints have been my chosen method of acquiring Cybertron molds which I'm enjoying.

It looks pretty solid. The pieces I compared (from the window) to the Monsterbot and seem to be a replica in every way... Damn, you are encouraging me to open it and find out.. I will give it a day or 2 to sink in. The entire box is quite heavy too. Compared to the real Dinoking, its a replica only some colours on the Dinosaurs are different by being slightly lighter.
