Some extras that come with separate figures to make a "powered-up" mode

This figure is so sexy. I doubt Hasbro/Takara can top this with there alleged upcoming Roadbuster. Should be released soon since a couple of people on TFW already have the figure in-hand.

Looks amazing. Are there any comparison pics of Revolver Core with Steel Core or Assaulter? :o

Chimungmung had it in yesterday, but now it seems to have sold out/mysteriously disappeared. The armour thing is unusual - it would be interesting to see the differences in the two sets of accessories on the toy itself.

Yep, I'll be in on this one as he looks awesome in Bot mode and his Alt mode looks quite reminiscent of his G1 counterpart - I'm also a big fan of the "Core" gimmick.

Word spreading is that preorders for this bloke will be hitting quite soon, we'll need to keep our eyes peeled guys ;) - I'm going to flip a table if it ends up as an FPCore exclusive though.

Dag nabbit. Why is it when I'm trying to stop spending so much money on transformers for a while, some awesome stuff keeps coming out :(

Recoiler and Riftshot look like they're homages to Rack'n'Ruin. Riftshot's accessories are gloves and a massive mallet.

^Hmm... cheeky, in order to get all the "Power-Ups" one must also buy the 2? retools? ;)^

Unless/until they later release them as a pack on their own. But it's no more ridiculous than what we have to do to get a 'full' toy from HasTakTom. You want a Masterpiece Rodimus with a trailer and targetmaster? A Masterpiece Grimlock with crown, flaming sword, waiter outfit and intelligence transfer helmet? Bwahahahaha!

As an aside, it turns out that the new version actually does have all that.

Not sure dude, but you might be able to discern from this new gallery of photos that TFsource has mirrored (https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151868815576711&type=3&l=0cb8d7b8ee). :)

I think they might. Looks like there are pins through the wheels to allow them to turn. And the insides of the treads have teeth to stop them slipping off the wheels. While this is undoubtedly a cool development, rubber parts (I know nowadays it's made of a softened plastic) is always worrying.

Apparently Tony hand less than 10 to-hand before CNY and said listing went out of stock almost as quickly as it went up; I heard about the stock on twitter and by the time I checked Chimungmung, it was already de-listed!

Looks like a pretty awesome figure , I'm sort of pulling back on the reigns though with the possibility of an Official figure but I'm still interested in it ;) - Can't say I at all care of the retool/repaints however :o, the added parts alone aren't enough to entice me to purchase an expensive 3rd Party figure 3 times. :p

I'm pretty happy with my Apex and Geminus that I don't feel the need for those wreckers again. A bit annoying that to get the extra parts for Revolver you need to buy them.

Mechideas could do a nice retool of them into Rack n Ruin that would probably be more suitable than FP.

My comicbook knowledge is quite limited it seems. To me though, the faces on that teaser picture looks more like Twin Twist and Topspin.

Pre-orders are up on BBTS for Revolver (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=FPJ10040&mode=retail&utm_source=Marketing&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Marketing&utm_content=).

I wish FPC could get these guys up, preferably in a second Warbot Bundle with Riftshot and Recoiler.

Yep. Official one looks really good actually. 3P for me is only ever a substitute for the real thing.

Yeah. This guy looks good but I don't have enough of a connection to the character to warrant the 3P pricetag.

Nope, I'm doing the opposite ,I'm getting this first and Roadbuster second, while Hasbro appear to have done a decent job with Roadbuster (cept maybe the legs), the Warbots I've picked up so far have been all win. Paying twice the price is pretty steep, but going by Assaulter the solidity and quality of the toy is in another realm to the average hasbro release, so I'm ok with that.

May well end up getting both if I can get the official one cheap though.

I don't have enough of a connection to the character to want either.
But if I did, I'd prefer Revolver simply because he doesn't have construct-bot legs.

A bit late but I finally opened my Revolver...

mm..I am a little disappointed. No die cast like previous Warbots, loose joints to the point he can't hold his gun. The 'wrist' joints don't stay in place as they can't lock and are loose. Head is restricted for no real reason despite the ball joint. Track threads are static and not even a 'fake' wheel underneath to roll. No ratchet joints when he really needs them, specially shoulders.

The Heartmaster is ok except that he doesn't lock in properly in robot mode and has an ugly split groin that really hurts the look of him as it affects proportions. This wouldn't be too much of an issue but after being underwhelmed by the main toy, it adds to it.

To its benefit the transformation is intuitive and effective. However I am underwhelmed by the vehicle mode.

The fact that I have to buy the green repaints if I want to complete his accessories and 'armor upgrade', disappoints me further, specially when I am not to fond of the mold itself.

First FP toy I am not too fond of...maybe it will grow on me but not impressed at this point. This is specially so after being a huge fan of the previous releases in the Warbot line.

Lord_Zed

Mine has some looseness to him, but nowhere near the degree you describe. The split groin thing on the Heartmaster is the same and annoying though.

Overall though I couldn't disagree more, as he's one of my favourites of recent times, and my second favourite Warbot, (although I only have 3).

Any other feedback on this guy aside from the above two posts?

The price has come down on this a bit since Hasbro released their Roadbuster and I'm either getting this, Azalea or one of the iGear Conair Raptor squad next.

Looks good in robot mode and poses fine except for the shitty ankle joints - they don't support his weight well. just a light touch or posed off centre and he'll fall on his arse.

wrists are so so. can hold his weapon fine but since they dont lock in, they can flop a bit.

honestly not worth it if you want a complete figure and need to get the other 2.

I like him myself and have forgone Hasbro's for Revolver. He is not as tight as previous Warbots though, and while mine has no problems holding poses his wrists are a little loose.

Nonetheless I'm a big fan of his aesthetics and love the way the guns combine. His smaller companion is also cool, however his groin is split slightly due to his transformation which looks a bit weird.

Overall I like him and have no regrets, but like Columpio he is not FP's best.
