For those with free-to-air TV only, and don't avoid the Bay Movies like the plague... :p
TF2 (Revenge of the Fallen) is on tonight on Channel 10 at 8.30pm
TF3 (Dark of the Moon) is premiering on FTA tomorrow night on Channel 10 at 8.30pm.

Have to admit have not seen DOTM as yet :p

Was kind of hoping it was a bit more like the first. Tentatively looking forward to it

Flicked it on. They're in Egypt. Huh, Skids has a spare tyre on his back... That doesn't really make sense.

Sam found the Tomb of the Primes. Do you think the Autobots went and recovered the bodies of their ancestors after the movie finished?

Don't think I've watched any of this since 2009, but it's coming back to me.

flicked over to it as they arrived in Egypt, and remembered why I didn't like ROTF as much as DOTM or the first movie.
but still watched the rest of the movie, will probably watch DOTM tomorrow night.

good question, I'd say they probably didn't, it's their tomb after all so it'd be like disturbing someone's remains right?

With everything that's been going on have not had much time for TV, but I flicked over in time last night in time to see them in the museum reactivating Jetfire. Watched until just before they chucked that government official out of a plane.

You know, I've seen ROTF about 20 times, and I STILL have trouble keeping track of whats happening - it's all so fast and so garbled ! And this is coming from a guy with a short attention span who loves speed metal because a fast paced song is a good song ;)

I don't recall seeing a ferrari tf toy from DOTM. Was there ever one?

What was his name? Dino? Mirage?

The TF invasion ships in TF3 seems to be the same in the avengers movie :D

Credited as Dino in the movie. The Cyberverse Legion toy was called Mirage -which wasn't a Ferrari, but an Audi.

When simmons says 9 autobots are to leave earth... shouldn't there be more? Prime, Bee, Wreckers x 3, Dino, Ratchet, Einstien bot, the two the little ones and sideswipe makes 11?

Yeah the little guys can't be worth counting. Never knew Brains was originally a decepticon, thanks tfwiki! :D

Names and numbers... you're assuming that Bay's Transformers movie scripts are meant to make sense. :p

The plot holes are big enough for one of those ships to fly through...

It was one of the benefits of John Barber using the comics universe to fill in the plot holes of the 3 movies.
You actually need to read the TF3 comic adaptation before you see the movie, to make sense of the story while enjoying the special effects.
Even the ending in the comic made more sense (Megatron redeems himself in the comic and is allowed to go free).

(Bay's movies are basically a series of special effects shots that he visualises in his head, patched together to create a movie, that ends up being rather disjointed or failing to make sense altogether)

Yeah well... I started the night watching iron man 3 but I had to switch over - that is just as bad so it seems a common thing with action flicks these days.

Wheelie and Brains are technically Decepticons, so it can be argued whether they counted or not. After all, he said "9 Autobots", not "9 Transformers". ;)
