Picked up a long box and a small box from the PO yesterday morning, then went shopping. This is my first time seeing MP-10 in person, and being a former MP1/2 owner I am much happier with this mould (funny when I told a friend I was going to sell a chunky-monkey, he said 'the red one or the white one?' Thinking i meant MP-1/2... but anyway).

Saw Jazz every week for so long at Mr Toys near work I just grabbed him, and with IDW Generations TC/Warp on the way figured I should finally get Starscream (and local Target restocked recently):

$315 (ouch), but I only paid $160 :-P. My wife got me nothing for xmas, and I didnt have an MP prime of any sort and was thinking of getting YotH one because it's cheaper. She saw me looking at it and said it's ugly... so I showed her the prices of the Hasbro ones on eBay (Usd$340ish + ship) and takara ones on Robotkingdom. Next day she messaged me and said she bought me something on eBay, and I owe her half ^_^

I set out to get it all opened and displayed last night ..... and failed miserably !

Masterpiece Starscream and the new Generations Voyagers are now on the display. The rest is going to have to wait until I get some more free time.

Looks like my luck will never let me get a straight box with Tiger Track (this is my 2nd, I usually keep things MISB but open 1-2 of each mould, opened the first cos I didn't think I could get a worse one), but oh well, at least the Jetfire is nice and white still (MIB).

Edit: One of the Dr. Wu launchers is only stuck together at one end, will need to glue it, maybe it has something to do with the packaging damage, but oh well. As for the red colour, not 'quite' on the money for me, and the bigger missiles are much bigger than I expected from pics. Still happy for $11USD though.

OT I know, but I received a Lego shop order today of the $330 Simpsons house that looks like a friggin' pickaxe has gone through it in transit. Split bags (tonnes of loose and possibly missing bricks), damaged bricks, damaged capes.

I'm going to be very polite on the phone tomorrow, but insistent that they replace it via courier at their cost, and that they collect the damaged goods.

I'm also going to call Australia Post, give them the article ID, and ask them what the fuck happened. Seriously, it looks like Australia Post tried to fix it with tape and gladwrap.

That's the 30th anniversary collection book, released sometime last year. I havnt had a chance to go through it yet.

Looks great. Skipped the regular version, but the 86 "reformatting" style of the gun/wings sealed it for me. This version will display in robot mode (with football!). I've got a cheap one coming from eBay without the football for alt mode (I believe griffin pointed out the cheap ones in the main thread).

Next week is going to be pricey, but thank christ my Hot Toys MMS RoboCop is delayed until August!

I just opened mp-10b (nemesis prime) that I got today from the post office. I must say his joints are tight! he feels like a better than mp-10 (hasbro), can't remember how my takara mp-10 felt like as he was stored away once i got the hasbro edition.

Thanks, Ive always wanted to buy a new one, coz my first one was a second hand one - albeit in top condition... there's initials carved :eek::eek: on the figure most likely from the previous owner...it's inconspicuous until you take a closer look but it has always bothered me in a way heheheh. So this is a welcome pristine replacement of the one on display. Now I can play with that old one with extreme prejudice!!:p

Nice Haul,
I've noticed a lot in the last year or so, especially with beast hunters dragons, (the 4 I have anyway) that a lot of figures are mistransformed in pack. It seems to me generally to be a method of reducing the side profile so the bubble can be thinner.

it's obviously not so common with those packed in vehicle mode. but with the beasts especially it's frustrating to be following instructions to a mode and find that you don't have to move this ny further, or the reason you can't move this part is it's already moved as far as it will go.

So I been building a wreckers team, but wont post the full photo yet. How ever yesterday I found a second RID Bulkhead for $20 at Big W. And found a BH Wheeljack for $20 as well due to the plastic peeling off the cards (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showpost.php?p=401225&postcount=3523).

I was unsure about this Wheeljack at first, but after opening him up. I must say I love him, and love how he has a mean winged look to him. (Regardless of people calling him a Christmas looking transformer :D)

Got these two from a small shop at the Eumundi Markets which specialises in 80s toys. $10 bucks each. He had a few other minicars which i didnt have the dosh to pick up.

Rotorstorm was in pretty good nic for his age & for $10; his rotor blade was busted (As is to be expected) and was also missing his Missiles & Launchers but aside from that & a stressed left tail-plane, he had both of his landing struts and extremely minimal paint chipping along with no discolouration. :)

My GDO Megatron is like that. I leave them between solid objects for months. They come out perfect. Put it on display, within a day he's all flaccid again. I just got use to it, as he looks awesome.

My MP12G arrived !!! he is a very nice figure...my only QC is on the right side door there a dust hair in the paint job so a little bump there also a little overspray where his knees are but beside that it everything is great.... just love the face and weapons and the spike wheel can be angle which is a nice touch ... A gloss black Lamborghini how can you resist ...

I'm definitely impressed with the quality of the datsun's they're amazing though smokescreen is my least favorite of the lot , his weapons don't sit right for me and his front bar being bigger than the rest of the bodykit just looks wrong imo

Mine too had some sort of dust hair on the same panel which peeled off exposing the red undercoat. To think of it, it's too thick to be dust hair so may as well have been pubic hair. Other than that, the best of the MP-12 characters.

BBTS Loot arrived on Monday.

Prior to shipping my loot, BBTS informed me that United Bruticus was in a sub-standard box. The box didn't have too many issues, just a slight 3 inch crease on the back of it.

Only picked up Dark Energon Wheeljack for his Slicer deco, and is my first version of the TFP Wheeljack mould - and man is that a good mould! For a toy that costs scarely more than lunch (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=HAS22318&mode=retail), I had a lot of childish fun.

Strange thing with Armada Starscream; the back of his box had a sticker label with a HK address on it. Did BBTS get these figures via Hasbro HK?

Also, eHobby Magnificus comes in a really really tiny box..

I wanted something to protect and also display the collector cards for the MP Transformers, and found out about the Ultra Pro magnetic card holders! They are bloody AWESOME!!! I bought the 55pt thickness ones, and they fit great (I think the 35pt would be good enough though). Love how they look in them, and now I can look at them without worrying about damage! :)
