Hey all, for those that have Masterpiece figures, have any of you put the collector card in any sort of trading card holder?
I've seen some listed fairly cheaply online with magnetic clasps, but all trading card holders specify the thickness of the card (eg. 20pt, 55pt, 75 pt etc).
Do any of you know what is the thickness of the MP collector cards? I was thinking 55pt would be enough? They appear to be the standard 2.5" x 3.5" size, but I'm worried about the thickness.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

I use to use the 4 screws one but that hard to get now an expensive to send so I got the magnetic one for them now.... I use the 35pts Ultra pro specialty series ...suppose to be uv protected ... and it fit perfectly ...
the mp 18,17 are the magnetic ones on the right bottom corner ...

Wow, that looks great! I was looking exactly at the Ultra Pro Magnetic holders but at 55pt.
Not sure if they're the same price as thr 35pt ones. So you're saying 35pt fits nicely. Does it matter if I get slightly bigger at 55pt?

if you want to get them you should wait for the collector fair ... as there always a card store ...and you save on the shipping cost as it adds up because it get quiet heavy , and it can get rip the packaging leaving you with missing items... trust me ... it a real hassle!!

The only thing I think we have coming up is the Oz Comic Con in April.
I looked at the ebay prices for the 35pt Ultra Pro holders, and the cheapest is $4 each with free shipping. How much cheaper do you think I'd get them at a toy fair or comic con?

Another question, with the 35 pt ones, does the case mark the card or leave any imprint on the corners at all?

I just use regular collectable card holder sleeves and store them in folders. I do it for a lot of stuff, not just MPs (e.g. JP BW, CR, G1 reissues, ML, SL, GF, BT, other TF collectable cards etc.). Just out of interest lancalot, how easy is it for you to view the reverse side of your MP tech specs cards? Because as nice as the artwork is, the real "meat" of the tech specs is the text on the back which is important to me. But then I guess it might be less relevant if you don't read Japanese (:p), although I also like looking at the toy photography on the reverse side too.

I velco it on so I can take it off the wall to rearrange and look at the back if needed
