I've wanted one for over a decade, and TFCC has teased on Twitter that maybe they will be ready to deliver... at some point. Maybe. Beast Hunters Soundwave as Botanica and and Laserbeak as her breast:

For context, these panels are from the Club comic, and the prequel to their new "alternate Beast Wars" story that their (Megatron repaint) Rampage and (Arcee repaint) Transmutate toys are going to appear in.

As well as Botanica, versions of Rattrap, Jawbreaker, Geckobot and Torca appear (as redecos of existing toys).

Here's what that club exclusive/botcon exclusive Botanica toy might look like (and Jawbreaker)

Damn... The more they focus on BWs stuff, the harder it is for me to let go of the series.
That Botanica looks cool... As long as it doesn't transform to a plant :p

they should change the face as well and that be perfect for the figure ...
from the drawing it is based on BHsoundwave so the repaint should be eazy..

I'd love a Botanica :D, but whilst the TF:P Soundwave model works well for her in art ... I'm finding it to be quite a stretch with the actual Dlx figure however :( - It just doesn't have her trademark slender neck. :o

Never knew she existed.

That and Prime Soundwave is all angles and lines. Doesn't really work for a plant.

For a pre Beast era figure, deluxe Soundwave scrapes a pass but certainly not for Beast Machines Botanica.

Although I doubt there'll ever be a better suited figure for a tree transformer so, why not Soundwave?

Yeah - she landed on a planet with sapient plants, so - like the Autobots and Decepticons on Earth became machines, and the Maximals and Predacons on Earth became animals - her crew disguised themselves as plants.

...and it's not like it's an unheard of premise/concept either, Bandai & Tonka (http://youtu.be/XLBS52mqrio) beat Hasbro to it years ago. ;)

Those are rocks though... I don't know if there has ever been a transforming plant toy before?

Saberback/Striker/Snarl and Sling have plant modes.

Officially, or just names given to the weapons painted like plants?

Not debating you - just asking, as I'm aware of those JP Beasts, but not recalling any names given to their weapon gimmicks.

They're "trap" modes -- parts that open to look like plants and ensnare flower-sniffing Maximals. :p It's not quite the Botanica toy I'd like... but I guess it's better than nothing.

They are officially plants/flowers in the same way as any Transformers mode is - i.e. they're robots in disguise. Yes it seems pretty stupid that the Maximals would fall for the 'flower trap' thing even once, let alone more than once, but there's an amusing scene in Beast Wars Neo, where Break and Cohrada 'flamethrower' a whole 'field' of flowers because they're not sure which one is Saberback. (It turns out that he was actually behind them.)
