I was in a recently restocked KMart last night, and the Legion figures (Airrachnid, Rippersnapper etc etc ) were present in the standard english card and insert, and also in a multi-lingual, less detailed (due to not reprinting each thing in X languages) cards and inserts.

Anybody else noticed this? and is it a sign we may get Generations figures similar to the recent Canadian release with no Comic included?

PS I've also noticed this on the most recent restocking of Cars 2 toys....

I saw some BH deluxes on my local Kmart shelves in Asian packaging a while back. I wouldn't read too much into it yet. Especially since Hasbro has been moving figures from region to region in recent years. I've seen US Transformers with HUB stickers over hear and Star Wars Vintage series figures from Europe.

We have become a bit of a dumping ground for alot of stock not moving overseas. Uncle Petes usually picks up a fair bit of stuff like second series kreo build sets that didn't see a release here. And a few other figures from various lines. Though they are not the only store.

But we can still be somewhat hopeful that someone will get the current Generations figures.

I noticed the multi-lingual packaging on the legion Air Vehicon I bought from Woolworths this week... I just figured they were selling so well they had to replenish from whatever source they could get hold of.

As far as i'm aware we've always missed out on the pack in items, things like a dvd with an episode on it, I've never seen that here, I would be very surprised if we did get generations figures with pack in comics.

I saw those BH legions in multilingual packaging too, made a joke of it.

It's not the first time though. Kmart also stocked some deluxes during ROTF (the Jolt wave) that had Asian market packaging. Big W stocked some Animated deluxes (Blurr, Swindle wave) with multilingual packaging.

Usually tends to be random sourcing of stock.

We do get them - we got minicomics in Armada, videos in Beast Wars, DVDs in Cybertron and Classics and Animated, comics in Universe and Animated, and many more. I got a Universe CD-Rom with something or other, too. Getting Generations toys at all seems to be the biggest hurdle at the moment.

Over in Wagga here i maybe see wave 1 BH deluxe... some legion and commander figs. its very barren here.. I had my hopes up when i went to Sydney CBD... umm nope nothing much.. Melbourne CBD an over priced MP Megs.. I ended up at Minotaur and scored a hat.... Transformers in Australia is pretty poor... I now just shop online like everyone else..:(:(:(

Late wave items often get dumped here from other markets, including US and multi-lingual markets. It isn't a sign of our packaging changing, as it is cheaper for Hasbro to have as many English markets as possible listed on the US packaging (like the AUS, NZ and HK addresses), and send that product here.

Eh... would we really be missing out on much if we got multilingual EU packaging? Toy tech spec bios aren't really terribly well written anymore, and the pack-in comics are just reprints of existing issues (it'd be different if they were exclusive).

As long as the toy inside is the same, i'm not bothered by the multilingual packaging. At least we're getting something.
