FansProject's Smart Robin is a great figure with a clever, elegant transformation. Sadly, the rumoured face plate to make him closer to his toy appearance, and his current look in IDW's More Than Meets the Eye, never came to fruition. I've seen a few enterprising people creating their own faceplates, but I'd like to go a step further and create an extra set of wings as well to give him his familiar MTMTE sillhouette.
Here's a quick cardboard mockup I put together this afternoon:

The wings will plug into the gun slots in the nose/back, and should be able to remain in place through transformation, becoming canards (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canard_(aeronautics)) in jet mode.
In addition to the wings, I'll do up a removable face plate, and possibly a briefcase if the other parts turn out okay. My plan at this stage is to create a single master part out of styrene, then make a mould and cast final parts out of resin. This has the advantage of making both wings identical, but also means that if all goes well I'll be able to make casts available for anyone else keen on a set. :)
