The next pair of TakaraTomy Cloud toys have been revealed on their site (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-cloud-brawn-and-starscream-revealed-179352/), and in a JP hobby magazine (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-cloud-starscream-toy-image-179355/).

Starscream uses the Generations Blitzwing mould (yes, a triplechanger Starscream), while Brawn is the HK Generations Brawn toy that was never released (using the Voyager TFPrime Bulkhead mould).

Starscream is exclusive to Ehobby, and Brawn is exclusive to TakaraTomy Mall website, with pre-orders starting February 24th and ending April 4th. (release date not yet known, but will be some time after that)

Looks like Starscream comes with two null rays instead of the Sword and Gun of Blitzwing and Doubledealer.

I must say, I love Blitzwing in Starscreams colors. I'm surprised they didn't just throw Jetfire in this mold. As the plane mode with screams colors sort of reminds me of him.

Hopefully they paint up Brawn to look like the image in the link and not the planned GDO colours.

So using voyager molds in a weird-ish way maybe.. Soundwave from Mindwipe or Jetfire from Animated Starscream.

And we know Rodimus is going to be the Springer mould. It's actually a weird contrast from the incredibly boring choices for the first two 'Cloud' releases.

It's funny that Doubledealer just looks like a repainted Blitzwing, but Starscream really fits that mould.

It's a no brainer that they'll release the other seekers in time but will they ever do Flywheels...

Does anyone else think Brawn is a little, well, chubby?
Just doesn't fit with the lean mean fighting machine known as Brawn

At this rate, Flywheels may end up being a TFCC release down the line? :( I really hate to see the proceeds of this obvious fan-fav go towards those scumbags.

I am head over heels over this Brawn repaint! Only bought a few pieces from the TFPrime line, but am glad to fit in one of the better moulds into Classicsverse.

Images of what Brawn will look like (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/japanese-transformers-40/transformers-cloud-brawn-toy-picture-179361/), from the same magazine as the Starscream picture.

I would've preferred Breakdown as the base mold for Brawn

Starscream still has Doubledealers face. Nice paintjob, but not enough to convince me to buy that mold again, bleh!

As for Brawn, his Prime aesthetics just make him look weird to me.

Yep and Yep. A Flywheels use of the mold would have been better than Starscream, but I do like that paintjob. The alt-mode is good for Brawn but in robot mode he just looks like he's been hoeing into the energo-taco's too much :p As much as I am a sucker for any homage toy to G1, I'll prob give both these figures a miss.

Been thinking about these guys and while I like the paint job on Starscream thats it as far as likes go, overall this line obviously isn't aimed at me. I've really not liked any of the figures so far, especially at their price tag.

Official images and story (in Japanese) have been added to the TakaraTomy site.
It also confirms the product numbers as TFC-A02 for Brawn and TFC-D02 for Starscream. (the second link has the wrong number for Brawn).

Story in Japanese (http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/html/page44.html).
Starscream page (http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/html/page44.html)
Brawn Page (http://takaratomymall.jp/special/tfcloud/)
Order page for Brawn (http://takaratomymall.jp/shop/g/g4904810808626/) - giving us a release date of August 28th for 5940yen.
Order page for Starscream (http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/shopdetail/000000002697/) - for a release date of some time in August for the same price.

Starscream's ghost possessed Blitzwing? If so, that's a clever explanation for the toy.

Also, the e-Hobby background image is awesome: http://gigaplus.makeshop.jp/ehobbyshop/common/background01.png

I know.... it's a great image. I downloaded a copy when it was first put up about two years ago because it was one of the few "wallpaper" type official images I've actually liked enough to have a copy of.

Brawn looks alright, and Starscream's colours on Blitzwing work much better than I would have expected. That bit of promo art on the story page is very nice too.

They both came up for preorder with BBTS today - individually $99 a pop!

Nooooo, no thank you. Wouldn't get them at half the price. Doubledealer only cost me $20!

yeah 99 plus shipping is wayyy too much. But was expected as cloud optimus and megatron were over priced as well.

Another animation of Brawn and (the backside of) Starscream (http://www.e-hobby.co.jp/html/page50.html)... features a girl called SARA, and has a Whirl "toy" looking like Shockwave (and the text refers to Shockwave at the end as well).
We saw Springer as Rodimus in an earlier animation, but that still hasn't been anything more than just a red herring so far... so maybe this one is as well?

The chapter also mentions Sandstorm, Ratchet, Rodimus and Ironhide, and someone I can't work out - "Rariho".
