A truly sad day - especially for those of us who are fans of Ghostbusters - with the passing of Harold Ramis who died at age 69 today. He was a brilliant writer and director, responsible for the perfect Groundhog Day, and of course best known as Dr Egon Spengler from the Ghostbusters films (which he also co-wrote).
A remarkable man, very underrated. I would be proud to have achieved what he did in his life.

Aw that sucks. I haven't been that bummed about a celebrity passing since DeForrest Kelly died :(

Sad news indeed. Was hoping that the original cast could have gotten together for one more Ghostbusters film.

Was very saddened to learn of this via twitter last week; the man was a genius & brilliantly funny on & off camera, Hollywood will not soon see the likes of Harold Ramis again. :(

Ghostbusters is on right now, a bit sad to think he's been gone near 3 months already.
On the upside, Orion sat there and watched half the movie enthralled as he played with his blocks before we put him to bed. Amazing! I can't get him to watch RescueBots but he loves Ghostbusters! The first thing I have seen him watch happily that's not on ABC2 :D
