my custom FOC Ultra Magnus

Hi all
after all the inspiration from transformazings armour and here and TFW2005 I decided to do my first custom.
this is FOC Ultra Magnus made with cybertron defense red alert.

I've used 3d printed knees from c9158183 that he posted on shapeways as well as 2 railguns from shapeways by javaco and 2 lambo guns from shapeways by sunlink to use as smoke stack guns.

I've also used the KFC kit for Hasbro Ultra Magnus as shoulder missiles

Ultra magnus is painted with Tamiya paints x4 blue, flat white aluminium red and clear red all sealed with auto gloss clear acrylic.

I'm happy with him considering its the first time I've touched a model paint in just over 18 years. my prep is a little poor so I have some rub but hopefully I'll do better on an armour set for my Takara Ultra Magnus. It took just over 8 weeks to finish at a total built cost of $173 but well worth it

Thanks for the kind words all.
I'd love some constructive criticisium on how to improve him a little. I'm thinking shaving 3mm off the rail gun pegs so they sit better in the smoke stacks. The head is a tad small but any bigger and he won't transform right. I'm also thinking the rail guns need some red and blue and maybe the tiniest trace of silver to blend the lot together.

I'm also thinking of painting magnus's torso and forearms white with dark blues for the windows and silver lining to make him more accurate. I'm worried about the legs though , part of me says leave them blue for better flow in robot mode, the other says dude magnus's cab is a white prime wtf are you doing leaving it blue?
