Checked myer this morning, they had 4 gaia unicron and optimus packs $99.

Well that is obscure.

And keeps our TakaratTomy average to about one every two years. (last one was the MP Ghost Starscrea)

Makes me wonder about the process for these - does someone at Hasbro HK (who is likely the middleman between TakaraTomy and Hasbro AUS) ask to offload their excess stock, or does someone in Australia (retailer or Hasbro) randomly asks for something they've seen and like.

$99 is a better than expected price for Myer, but you can still find cheaper ones on ebay (here at AU$90 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-TOMY-TRANSFORMERS-PRIME-OPTIMUS-PRIME-GALA-UNICRON-/121269226490) and here at AU$87 (http://www.ebay.com/itm/TAKARA-TRANSFORMERS-AM-01-PRIME-OPTIMUS-PRIME-AM-19-GAIA-UNICRON-EXCLUSIVE-SET-/131118999433) for example), so probably wait for a sale if you don't want to import.

the Unicron/Prime pack has just appeared at Myer.

Do they still have them? I checked the site and the only Transformer listed was BH Predaking.

There were two on the shelf at the CBD Myer, but when the lady at the desk was looking up other exclusives on the computer, she said that the Gaia Unicron packs shouldn't have been put out until their toy sale (starting March 23rd).
Not sure if that is true, but if they aren't found at some Myers, this might be why.

Saw gaia Unicron and Optimus pack in Carousel WA Myers no news of YOTH yet.

Saw 3 Gaia at Myers Chatswood last Saturday, with the Myers day, there was 50% off for the 2nd toy, thus $75 for each if you buy 2 of them, but me and my friend both did not buy it.

That's the work of hasbro. Slashing price hard to get rid of stock. Interesting that they push it here to Australia. Asia stores had "big" sale on these

haveing Gaia Unicron already for probably 2 years or so now, and FE prime I dont' want this pack, it's interesting to note there are differences in paint apps on both, mostly black highlights but prime is also shinier. both come with an assembled Micron.

The original single versions of these toys didn't have those "features"
