I read this at Seibertron (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/stan-bush-releases-new-album-the-ultimate/29714/).com

I'm interested, I have both his two most recent albums and their pretty good, it's refreshing to have an album of music that's positive and uplifting all the way through and not be full of sappy love ballads or depressing sadness.

ironically I bought the last one at Botcon 2011 signed on the spot by Stan, maybe I can get this one this year. :)

Aside from The Touch (Power Mix) are there any Transformers "inspired" songs?

Probably not, the last album had 2 transformers inspired songs and the rest were entirely original.

Stan Bush recently released a new album called "The Ultimate (http://stanbush.com/2014/01/new-album-the-ultimate-3-17-14/)", and on it is a track called "Thunder in your Heart".

The song has now been put up on Youtube with a CG video done by Randall Ng (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nGSSuziWX3A) (whom many will recognise as the one who has done a lot of these animations, including ones for BotCon in recent years).
(the individual track can be purchased on itunes here (https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-ultimate/id830631376))

Now, for those who don't know, this isn't a new song.... it was originally recorded by an Australian in 1984 - John Farnham, and used in the 1986 American movie called "Rad (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rad_%28film%29)" (track listing here (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091817/soundtrack)).

And this isn't the first usage of this song by Stan Bush either. In mid 2012, Carlton Draught used it for their Beer Chase commercial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZnNX8SsKF18), and apparently in a Tomb Raider game spot in March 2013 (https://twitter.com/Stan_Bush/status/311310751098871808).
I had a suspicion that it was Stan Bush in the Beer commercial (when you've listened to enough of his songs as I have, he has a familiar voice), but when I emailed Carlton United and Stan Bush about it at the end of 2012, CU claimed confidentiality prevented them from saying anything, and Stan didn't reply.
I even tweeted the question to Stan Bush on December 29th 2012, but got no reply... and I only just recently deleted it too (having a personal tweet on our News account bugged me)... so can't even prove it. :(

The track sounds like it might be remixed from the Beer commercial, but the vocals sound about the same.

And to Demonac, who told me I was completely wrong (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rOMk5GWvlks).... :p

Stan Bush has made a Transformers based music video for the song "Thunder in your heart" from The Ultimate. See it over at Seibertron. (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/news/stan-bush-releases-new-video-thunder-in-your-heart-featuring-transformers-animation/29811/)

Yeah I know, I'm learning how it all works ;) (It just takes me a while :p)

I hate to say it but the Stan Bush new music video "Thunder in your Heart" and the accompanying TF animation - neither my eyes nor ears particularly enjoyed it. I hate to say it Stan, but the 80's are gone mate
