An update and roundup of this series of figurines.

30 figurines, over two waves of 15.
Wave 1 - March/June
Wave 2 - October

Each wave of 15 will be available in the following formats...
15 blind-bagged figures
15 carded figures
5 three-packs (most are character themed)
3 five-packs (series themed - Gen1, TFPrime, Movie)

Wave 1 (each comes with a character card/puzzle piece to form Gen1 Optimus)
(Note - each row is the 5-pack, each column is the 3-pack)
Gen1 - Optimus, Megatron, Ratchet, Starscream, Soundwave.
TFPrime - Optimus, Megatron, Ratchet, Starscream, Bulkhead.
Movie - Optimus, Megatron, Ratchet, Starscream, Sentinel Prime.

Wave 2 (each comes with a character card/puzzle piece to form Gen1 Megatron)
Gen1 - Bumblebee, Shockwave, Ultra Magnus, Grimlock, Rodimus.
TFPrime - Bumblebee, Shockwave, Wheeljack, Soundwave, Insecticon.
Movie - Bumblebee, Shockwave, Ironhide, Soundwave, Barricade.

(some character 3-packs are mixed characters if they didn't appear in all three series... but it looks like they missed matching up the three Soundwave figurines)

The figurines are being produced by an Australian company called Goldie Marketing, and will be sold around the world, under Goldie International in America (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys-products-30/transformers-30th-anniversary-minifigures-image-179138/), and Paladone in England (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-toys-products-30/first-look-at-the-paladone-transformers-figurines-from-uk-toy-fair-2014-179117/) (their wholesale website now has them listed (http://paladone.com/ranges/Transformers/transformers-figurines)).

The Australian website (http://www.goldiemarketing.com.au/) has a video up (from youtube here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4hx4K6SNlrE#t=237)), showing off their display at the German (Nuremberg) Toyfair. Their site has a Transformers page coming soon.

Some photos from their display at the Australian Toyfair, now that I have permission to post them.

Series 1 figurines (three-packs on the left, the 5-packs were at the bottom), plus the Optimus lenticular "puzzle/poster".
NOTE the 15 figurines in the middle display case - each row is a 5-pack, each column is a 3-pack.

Series 2 figurines (three-packs on the right, the 5-packs were at the bottom), plus the Megatron lenticular "puzzle/poster".
NOTE the 15 figurines in the middle display case - each row is a 5-pack. The 3-packs appear to be conjectural at this stage.

The look pretty cool. Might pick up the G1 packs if I can find them around here :)

These have been found in American retail (http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/generation-1-1/30th-anniversary-mini-figures-and-3d-puzzles-purchased-at-retail-180084/), and some online sources had them in the last week or two... have they been found here yet?

Ditto. I'd buy a set of cards if anyone is just looking for the figs. Never liked bobble head type super deformed

Now have to wait for October for the Series 2 (wave 2).

Anyone seen the 3-pack or 5-pack locally?

Are these guys floating around anywhere other than TRU? No TRU here, and I can't find them anywhere :(

Bought the lot of Series 2 at TRU today. :( Is TRU easy to deal with if I ask for a price match based on next week's TRU catalogue?

Someone found them at one of those discount stores, The Warehouse?

You might need to do a search in the Sightings section for "figurines" to see where they have been sighted. (I haven't kept track of their sightings because they aren't from Hasbro)

You can find them in TRU, Big W and The Reject Shop, though I have only seen series 2 at TRU. More often than not, its full of Optimus and Megs with the other figures taken. I am looking for a G1 Starscream myself to complete my lil G1 collection. Hope this helps.

EB Games are selling the blind packs for $5. I bought one to see what the quality is like. Very small IMO as i pictured these to be a bit bigger, no way worth $5. I got movie Sentinel Prime (boring).

The G1 ones are 'worth it' but the Prime and Movie ones are ugly as.

Cool, thanks for that. I'll check out The Reject Shop :)

I just noticed on the Goldie Marketing site (http://www.goldiemarketing.com.au/transformers.html) (the license holder of this figurine set), that they have two 15-packs and a complete 30-pack, each with their respective "poster puzzles".

I don't think I noticed them before (that webpage wasn't up when I posted the news article above), but did anyone ever see them in stores here?

It's an Australian company that sold these figurines around the world, so I'm wondering if the big packs didn't even get released here.

Well, walking past the Reject Shop I managed to pick up the mini display case for free. :)

Only problem, the display case holds only 24 units out of a total 30 from Series 1 & 2.

What's the mini-display case? Is it specifically for the promotion of these figurines, or just a generic case that that store used to promote the figurines with?

(I've never seen them being displayed in a case at a store before.)

Ah, it's on the left side of the pic. The little triangular piece sitting above the rectangular display stand.

Oh okay... a "point of sale" display. For some silly reason I was thinking of a proper perspex display case. :o
