Can someone tell me a little about these two?

My acquisition is Movie Preview Ultra Magnus in Diaclone colours from Toy Festival 2001, of which there are 1499 others somewhere in the world. It's been a grail of mine for about a decade, but I never found one for the right price until now. (And an Action Master Elite Turbo Master, with all his weapons - his other sword is on his back - who's Bruticus in cooler colours.)

Jazzcomp's is New Year Special Convoy from 2002, which came with blue-eyed, blue-windowed Optimus, two guns, a mouse pad, matrix and Action Master.

Finally shipped my HLJ POL and received Rhinox!!

I'm really glad I shelled out for the Takara Tomy version because he looks amazing with the extra paint apps!

Soundwave was happy to finally make it back to Cybertron, where his tired old Earth-mode body could be reformatted into a Cybertronian stealth fighter-bomber.
Well that's how it transpired in my mind. And how I'm explaining a Cybertron Soundwave figure that does not fit in anywhere in my collection.

Great figure that I've been contemplating for quite a while, but sure am glad to finally have. Much thanks to Penetrator.

but i have to admit, i'm a little bit dissapointed :( every single one of them has paint imperfections :S ghost ss's face is damaged where it looks liek somones nail has scratched the paint when it was wet or something, the alternate face is a little bit better but looks like it hasn't moulded correctly around the chin area
sunstorm fared the best of them with just minor stress marks on one of his wings and a loose wing.
soundblaster has silver paint in places it shouldn't be( should be an easy fix)
mp10b has an issue with his chest not closing properly and his axe had bent spikes out of the box :(
and i'm really not convinced ratbat was the best they could design

i havn't opened yoth prime yet as after opening the viewing flap i'm really not convinced i like him at all.
certainly surprised at the paint imperfections as most of my takara mp's have been spot on ( small issues on mp12)
but over all i'm glad i picked them up
and hopefully with not to much trouble they'll all be fixed up

And don't be surprised if his feet are covered in cosmic rust. I don't know of any collector's Megs that doesn't have discoloration on his feet. It's a common problem.

my mp-05 feet were fine last time i checked, transformation is tricky and less than rewarding but he looks the part next to mp01 :) defo crack him open and have a play just be careful and take it slow, might help to watch a youtube video with transformation while your doing it, from memory collector75 had quite a good video?

2nd run MP Sideswipe and encore Jazz arrived today. Bought the Jazz cheap to open. I've never owned an original G1 Jazz, but the encore version feels a bit cheap to me. Kinda disappointed...
Still debating whether to gamble and open MP Sideswipe after reading the 2nd prduction run still has a lot of problems.

This kinda disproves that rumour circulating last Parra fair that the line got cancelled before these guys can come out. A sighting post in Facebook from one of my friends in Phils had me scrambling to ask my other friend to grab me some as well - which he did today and sent me this photo as proof of purchase. Im very excited ... can't wait for my holidays to arrive so I can play with these. :D Good thing TRU in Phil's isn't as hopeless as the stores we have here. They update their stock hehehe but my friend got mine from Toy Kingdom instead.

Trev: The instructions don't tell you where to put Frenzy's Soundwave half-head sticker, but I highly recommend emulating this dude (http://blog.livedoor.jp/kaizoki/archives/4392579.html) and putting it on one half of the roof panel (then putting Rumble's on the opposite side), because then you can do this! (http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/kaizoki/imgs/c/4/c41132ec-s.jpg) :D I wish I'd known/thought of this at the time I got AM Frenzy/Rumble, cos I put mine on the bonnets/shins which isn't nearly as cool. :o

Just picked up a couple of pieces to go on display (eventually!). Cheap buys, nothing particularly rare or anything.

Armada Unicron, to go in planet mode next to my Amazon Unicron. Thanks to groovyguy here on the board. Missing one hip-cover but you can't see it in planet mode.

My cousin passed my his Classics Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus - both have seen better days in terms of paint wear, but with a couple of KO 3P City Commander armours, it'll be a nice nod to both Magnus and the Powered Convoy colours from the movie's promo reel. I'd easily say I prefer the 86 animated movie to anything before or after and thus, I find it hard to pass up something that catches my eye in that area.

Oh, and I'm waiting on a heap of things in the mail...
