Yes and No for me, some look great some look too blockish. I would really like a all serious mode.

I'd prefer the 2000 TMNT style figures than the newer Nick ones as Revoltechs, I must say that the alternate heads and pieces are a nice touch.

Oh jeez~ ;D I think I may need to purchase these~ Particularly Donnie~ XD Haha~

I would've preferred figma too- but Revoltech is not a bad brand~ <3

Yes, well, clearly, Donnie is the best turtle, but after seeing Mikey's face I'm really tempted to get both. :D

I agree that figma and figuarts would have been better, their joint system is much more intuitive.

These still look great though, and I love the nick cartoon, it's fantastic!

My only gripe about these is that its based on the new cartoon. Still cant stand the feet and the chip/missing tooth on Donny.

Oh well, I love the new cartoon. They're written as though they're actually teenaged, and the animation is gorgeous.

Up for preorder at HLJ, all four slated for release in September.

I like the new show too.

Hmm, these guys are ~4000yennies/turtle.

Hmm, that's a bit pricey for my liking. Something about a few of their faces puts me off as well (plus I know revolver joints tooo well ) ;)

A bit more time and patience with the Revoltech joints certainly pays dividends! These figures are hands down THE BEST Ninja Turtles figures I've ever seen.

I can't think of any other TMNT figures that has this sort of articulation and beautifully done accessories and general aesthetic!

LOL I have the original NECA set of 4 comic Turtles too :)

But as much as I love them too, I can honestly say that the new Revoltech figures beats them hands down in terms of articulation and just general awesomeness. The comic versions will always hold a sentimental place for me, but I am totally amazed by these Revoltech figures. The joint system alone sets it above anything I've seen from Playmates and NECA.

Great way to round out the team! Together, these are just some of the best figures in this scale I've ever bought! Highly recommended!!

So much more expensive too, so one would hope they are ;)

lol indeed. I got my revoltechs for about US$40 each plus about $20 shipping from HLJ, so not too bad (total of about AUD$50 each).

I came late to the game on the NECA figures, and wanted to find genuine figures, not the many knockoff versions on ebay. So I paid a lot for those comic figures in the 4-pack set released a few years ago. They came to about AUD$50 each too in the end.

Although I did cringe at the original price sticker on the 4-pack box that said it originally sold for about US$40!! LOL!! Price I paid for getting in late I guess :)

Gotta admit I was tempted. But the price put me off. As do revoltech joints and their shoulder placement. The angle looks a bit whack and I would've preferred to see a double hinged joint in there instead.

Gotta admit these look crazy cool, came a bit late to the party, and now they are discontinued at HLJ. Anyone seen them for a semi comparable price in other sites? Advice would be greatly appreciated!

I dunno the more I look at them the more I dont like them. Far from perfect.
The 3 toes, the hunch over look thats always going on, the loose joints, Mikey's nunchaku are to small and fall out of his hands and belt.. too many flaws for the price they are asking for them. Also the over all look of them.. That not the TMNT I like, its like there are to many gaps throughout the figure, like where their legs join the body. It looks really off. They are cute. Ill give them that.

Well if you dont like the cartoon and newer look of the TMNT, then you're never going to like these figures. LOL!! For me, none of mine have loose joints whatsover, and now that I'm getting used to the revoltech joints, I am really liking them! In static poses they dont look that great, but in dynamic poses or in air poses (that these were designed for with their included stands), the joints can almost be hidden by the articulation. Just takes a bit of patience and futzing to get posed right.

From my own comparisons with the cartoon, these figures look very accurate. But yeah, if you're not into the new look, you'll never like these.

Not for me, these are the original turtles.
Colour wise this is accurate to the original only wished they were fiercer.
