Well we all know that Metroplex is getting reissued as part of the Encore series... so the question is, if e-Hobby reissued Metrotitan would you get it?

I'd get one in a heartbeat, regardless of Metrobomb. I already have Skystalker and Metrobomb isn't different enough that I would care if a reissue Metrotitan came with it or not.

Only if I could sell it to you-know-who for $700.

(Gok & Fungal know who I mean).

If interest rates go down as hoped in September, then maybe

I'd consider taking Metrotitan off you you sold the figure in question. :)

Who Dirge?

And no, I wouldn't buy it at all. The character is too obscure to me, I only know it by name and that it's a metroplex repaint. Same goes for the guardian robot.

The guardian robot actually appears in English-language canon dude, and in the cartoon no less! They also appeared in the Canadian TF comics (known as Omega Sentinels). That's not really that obscure IMO (certainly not compared to Metrotitan). :)

The body of a Guardian robot also appeared in the Australian convention TF comic "Prelude to Chaos." :)

I'm hoping up. My exchange rate's biting! :(

The micromaster doesn't bother me either. It's easy enough to grab the G1 version and use it instead.

The fact that he's a Decepticon and comes in cooler colors IMO, I won't hesitate getting this bot if he's reissued... yeeessssssss :)

Nope, I don't really collect G1 tho.

BTW: Do e-Hobby do reissues? Or is it only certain exclusives that they won't reissue...?

Nice. Is this comic available online or anything?

Hey Gok what is his background?

I don't know enough about him to warrant spending that much money on his toy. I would rather spend that money on figures of characters I know and love.:)

You're not a Geewunner? :( Not even a G1 Prime or Megs?

I think 99% of their work is exclusives... (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E-hobby) (eg. G1 Sunstorm)

Goktimus has a bunch of these sitting around at his place... :)

what is his background?

Sorry, I couldn't find very much on him (http://transformers.wikia.com/wiki/Metrotitan) at all

Is Mr McAvaney still active nowadays? Wonder if he ever got round to getting the Grand Maximus he was boasting about getting soon at the time.....

Nope, not even a Prime or Megs. I collected G1 with my bro and friends as a kid. Never felt the need beyond that except for G1 casettes.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Thanks.

I doubt it. Although Dreamwave is now defunct I don't think anyone can legally up/download them on/off the web. Especially considering that IDW has the rights to reprint DW comics.

even if it was done by Ehobby, i'd still consider it a reissue as there has been a metrotitan toy before

Last I heard he was calling AFL games :D

No, he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. Maxie is still sort of around...

They do limited stuff, but some of them are actually limited reissues, such as their Twincast release.

I meant the Australian comic. I'm curious as to how it turned out.

OK, interesting. Thanks.
