Got me thinking what a Transformer would collect, as individuals and/or as a faction?

Well a few of TFs have been shown to collect stuff as well - Rung for instance collects Ark ship models - similar I guess to how we collect model cars or Hotwheels, another character is Shortround, who collects... Transformers or I guess action figures of their kind, kinda like how some of us collects HotToys of their superheroes. ;). As a group I can deduce that the combaticons collects ammunitions, like a gun club or something hehehe, although Swindle keeps pilfering them hahah.

I've written that Grimlock has a wall covered in pieces of old foes. Mementos.

Ken dolls?

Also, don't forget about Optimus and his face collection.

Dust, mainly.

(On my shelves at least!)

Animated Lockdown collects parts of his victims.

Cybertron Brushguard spends his money on Earth SciFi B-movies... which probably means he collects them.
And Cybertron Hardtop was a comic collector.

The Cybertron series had a lot of obsessive characters in it... reflecting the fandom perhaps, as more and more fans were getting jobs at Hasbro.

The Armada guys, particularly the Decepticons, collect Mini-cons. Gotta catch 'em all.

Similarly the Cybertron guys collect Cyber Planet Keys. All four of them in fact because our worlds are in danger!

As Paulbot said, G1 Pipes is a hoarder, and as liegeprime said, Shortround collects transforming robot action figures! :D Shortround is almost like the Deadpool of Transformers. :p ;)

Airachnid collected the heads of those she hunted.

Frequent playing helps reduce dust gathering. :)

Whirl was collecting Sweep corpses before he decided to burn them all. :D

I wonder if Megs stumbled across his lair, and that was where he got the Sweep skulls hanging from his frame, just to add that touch of fashionable flair for his big return :p

That gave me a good giggle :D

I find this helps my figures a lot. It however doesn't help my shelves :D

Just give the shelf a quick dust before placing the toy back in its display spot.

I did this last Sunday to my whole collection. It took me the whole damn day :D For the size of your collection, I can only imagine what it takes to clean that :D

I don't do the whole thing in a day. As I play with different toys, I dust the shelf before I put it back. So all the shelves are eventually dusted. Mind you, because my toys are in a dedicated collection room with minimal human traffic, it doesn't get much dust (as opposed to having them in a heavy traffic room like say a bedroom, study, lounge room etc.). :o

Yeah mine are in a very large bedroom, but I also sleep on one side of it. Where as my collectibles are all on the other side. Must be why mine get so dusty :D

Cleaning my collection is like painting the Sydney Harbour Bridge - if I do a shelf every day or two, by the time I'm finished I have to start at the beginning again. :(
