Just stumbled across this guy on Facebook and Twitter
I'm curious to see how he will turn out.

Looks good. Add hazzard stripes and I'd say it stepped out right out of Megatron: Origin. edit I took a look at my issues and he looks like the cover of #4

But that Not-Blaster they did from the MP-Soundwave mold has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I was just thinking the same thing ;)

Maybe they are trying to redeem themselves with this one

Looks really nice and I need a Megatron for my classics collection. But I too wonder about the Hasbro release.

I really like the IDW design so this is cool, but so far Mega Steel have been all prototype pictures and no releases.

I dig those pointy shoulders and backpack tracks though.

What is the general quality of their QC-ing and the plastic they use?

This 'Megatron' is the first figure they've released.

Looks good. I was out in shed earlier today and sorting thru things and found my hegemon (which I really need to poem at some stage) and thought what a good sculpt he was

This looks like a very good idw version I need to get to compliment hege ;)

I like what they are going with but his design looks a little too stiff/square like an Energon/Cybertron toy.

They haven't released anything, we're still waiting for the aforementioned Blaster, maybe Soundwave and now this guy.

So far their all talk and prototype pics, so even though the;re showing us this Megs, I would not expect to see him this year.
