Man...I wonder if it comes with a trailer. If i had to choose between this or the EVA deco, Eva Wins hands down...but i'll find a way to get both...depending on the price of this! I remember the bathing ape g1 convoy was going for 200 USD unshipped...

Hah, I was just thinking about an hour ago... I wonder if there was another BAPE Convoy this year, as I want to see an orange one if they did.

I'm a bit disappointed now, as we were getting a nice range of colours for the Gen1 Convoy/Optimus Cab... and this is likely to be much more expensive too. :(

I adore the mould but...but...dunno if I can justify getting this repaint...That price is insane! almost the same price as mp-10...way more expensive then year of the year of the horse mp-10 and that came with a trailer!

Probs not gonna get this unless the price drops! already got 4 convoys...(Hasbro, Takara, Nemesis, and YOTH). Will be getting EVA if the price is lower than bathing apes...

Prices haven't risen that much since their release. One repaint i'm waiting for is...PEPSI PRIME. Would snap that up even at the bathing ape price...

I quite like this... much more than YOTH Prime.
They're probably going to churn out the same color schemes utilised on the other Bape exclusives for G1 Prime.

BAPE have updated their site (http://www.bape.com/transformers_4/) with all the new Transformers toy and clothing products for this year, to be released on August 9th for the release of the movie in Japan on the 8th.

There is a small image of the box, but I can't see the letter next to the MP-10... a recent hobby magazine said that is supposed to be A, because it can't be B for Bape (as B has already been used for the Black Convoy).


Prices on that site are insane.
If you thought the toy was expensive at almost AU$200, the t-shirts are about AU$85, the cap is about $100, and the hoodie is about AU$300!!!

I'd get it if it wasn't going to cost over AU$200 for just the cab... and since we can't order from BAPE, it means paying a hefty markup through a secondary source, which could mean AU$250-300 from online sources.

Nope. AFAIK its a BAPE exclusive, but I'm hoping RK will get it as they have previous ones.

Red's so boring though, it's just normal Optimus with funny legs. I'd consider a yellow, orange or blue variant, but both red and grey are 'meh' options compared to these or the green (or the Eva Prime.)

He's even fetching between 25000 and 30000 yen on Yahoo Auction Japan, so not much chance of getting him here for less than $350. Makes Eva ver. seem like a bargain! :p

According to some people on TFW (http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/transformers-news-rumors/985268-mp-10a-bathing-ape-masterpiece-convoy-57.html), the store Acetoy was sending out the old Gen1 Bapes instead of the new MP versions... which are now selling for US$400-$600 on ebay, compared to about $200 for the Gen1 version. (and just wrapped in bubblewrap, causing some damage to the box)
The problem appears to be that they can't get it replaced (perhaps due to being out of stock), and a refund through paypal means they lose most of the refund posting it back with tracking.
The alternative is get a couple hundred dollars by selling the Gen1 version, but they are likely to pay a lot more to get the MP version from ebay than they were buying it for from Acetoy.

They've since added a couple Gen1 images to their listing (http://www.acetoy.net/bape-transformers-mp10-convoy-bape%C2%AE-version-toy-p-30193.html?zenid=m7s8n93ipcchaia4t36ru5vc15), but the title and majority of images are the MP version.
(so if they were sending out the Gen1 version for $400, people lose out if they keep it (worth only $200) or send it back (lose $50-100 for postage))

Yea i got it via a proxy service from yahoo japan.

Got it for 23500yen on the day of release (buy it now) price when there was an abundance of them. The number dwindled each day hence pushing up the price. Now it seems yahoo japan's price is on par with ebay's.
