Wanted: 1996 Optimus Primal Beast Wars

Hi,
Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong section.

Im currently searching for a 1996 optimus Primal action figure. (gorilla)
This was my husbands favourite toy as a child and one of the last his mum gave him before she passed.
I would like to get one for his birthday.
I have had a look online with not much luck. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Unfortunately I have left this fairly late as I haven't been able to find one as his birthday is end of next week.

So if you know of one for sale please let me know.

Normally 'wanted' posts go in this section (http://otca.com.au/boards/forumdisplay.php?f=14) but i'm not sure if you'd have access as a new member yet.

Only Primal i can see around is this reissue from 2007 on Ebay in the US (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Transformers-Beast-Wars-Optimus-Prime-TM-SP-DX-Convoy-/390835171406?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item5aff97704e). Pricey though :(

This version has the nicest paint and a similar sculpt to the original toy. There's various versions you can read about on Tfwiki (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Optimus_Primal/toys)

With not much available though, i'd just have a look to make sure you don't accidentally get the "Robot Masters" version (or it's repaint in the Telemocha series) - it looks very similar but it's different and smaller than the 1996 toy.

I was a little confused between the versions as they do look a little different but now you have cleared that up. thank you.
I may have to keep searching, maybe it will have to be a christmas present rather then birthday if i ever find one.
