hi all
thinking of getting a huff and hopefully i could get some help.
the g1 huff though cool, its too tiny for my collection and was deciding whether an igear warrior rage or cubex old timer engineer huff.
does anyone here has any of these who would like to share their experience?
any info would be great.
thanks.

If you want official versions of Huffer that are bigger than G1 Huffer there are the Power Core Combiners and Beast Hunters version of the figure. I quite like the PCC version myself though I do have both :)
There is also a KreO Microchanger Huffer though he is even smaller than the G1 version :p

Thought i would share my opinion here for someone who is curious about Engineer Huff.
so it finally arrived! This this THIS is sooooo Cool! Imagine my dismay when i pulled it out of the plastic!!
Arms fell off, knee screws and knee fell off, hips were totally loose!!!! and dont get me started with all the tabs not lining up properly when i transformed it!... Plastic feels very fragile... the package should have come with a VERY FRAGILE sticker!!
lucky i sort of knew how to use a screwdriver and with a little tiny bit of patience... as time pass after a lot of swear words and tighten everything and lined up the tabs..... He looks WICKED!!!
Quality (IMHO), well.... for the price.... not good... Flimzzy, Fragile, top heavy.....
would i buy one again, Absolutely! I mean look at him! He looks Wicked! I'll probably end up buying another one and leaving it on the alt mode so i dont have to transform him anymore as he is fragile....
Anyway crappy iphone Photos below Enjoy!

Thanks for the pics. So there are no paint issues on yours? Some people have had problems where the mould release agent wasn't washed off the plastic properly before the toy was painted. So in time the paint starts to peel off. Hopefully you don't have that problem.

For me this one definitely wins the Huff look alike cartoon figure.
Just look pass it's flaws (mine fell apart :)) it is G1 cartoon accurate especially if you change the face (came with another face).
Over all happy with him and he definitely fits my masterpiece shelf.

Great pics. Makes me really want one.
However, the repeated QC just puts me off. I can't justify a figure that's going to flop about. A real shame. It's kind of like KFC, great design, poor QC. Such a shame.

Agree, it is a shame... on robot form he is wicked and does a good job. The more i spend time with him the more i understand its weak points. On Robot mode he is firm (except for the loose hips but that was fixed easily). its when he transforms is where the problem is and you have to be very careful. I will still buy another one and just leave him in Alt mode so i don't have to keep transforming....
IMHO if QC is a big question, he is not as fragile as "ToyWorld BII" aka Bumblebee. But they do look good together.... The Fragile bots.....

The only good thing about the Toyworld BII aka Bumblebee is that he can fit the voyager line up as well as the masterpiece line up... Huff can only belong on the Masterpiece shelf.

IMHO they are a perfect fit also for MP-01

Someone on Bad Cube's facebook page asked about them redoing Huff. They replied with:
after 2015, too full this year, it will be a better version and quality
Could be good news for those of us who want their version of Pipes too. :)

Hmm next year? Not sure to wait or not, I've been looking to get one of these for a while now, as I'd like a different mould for Huffer. I have xtranspots not-Pipes and want Huff to be different (even though they're not really supposed to be).
Just not really a fan of chrome arms on krank compared to the grey ones on huff.

huff is not too bad and looks pretty good!
i've had it now for 6 months and its still fine. Fragile but as long as you are careful with him, he is fine.

I have Huff too now. :)
But I would prefer BadCube/Cubex's interpretation of Pipes as well.
Krank and Stax are good, but not as good as Huff.
