These pics were brought to my attention by @Hardreturn via Twitter (https://twitter.com/ian_reid); according to its designation number, this will be the next entry in MakeToy's "Citybot" line:
(I've provided colour-inverted versions (White Background), if it helps some ;))

It looks like this bloke is a ways off in development, so we probably wont see much about him for another year or so, but if this thing is to be anywhere akin to the size & scale that their upcoming Metroplex is meant to be? - I'm sorry PerfectEffect (http://www.otca.com.au/boards/showthread.php?t=18561), I'll be going with this one easily! :D

Woah. That's some nice detail on that design. And there will be room in my collection for both this and PE's.

Ah! - Hadn't seen that they'd put that up; Cheers mate, I'll ask a mod to change the thread title accordingly. ;):)

That's okay. Their English language website only launched yesterday.

Yeah I thought that must've been the case because I was linked to it yesterday via Twitter but when I went to go back to it later in the day it had been taken down  - Regardless, they've got some amazing things planned for the future and I cant wait! to see Pandinus rendered in 3 Dimensional plastic! :D

With two third-party offerings out there, I'm glad I didn't put my money down for Botcon Scorponok yet. So far I'm leaning on PE Deathstalker because the robot mode silhouette looks like it resembles Scorponok's comic incarnation. Pandinus' bent knees and giant shoulders give him a less-intellectual look.

Different beasts. PE's will supposedly follow Warden and be more or less based of IDW with some added extras.
Pandinus will be a city bot.
You have room for both :D

Have to agree there, in the cartoon Scorponok was a lumbering giant cityformer of limited intellect, in the comic he was an above average sized Decpticon leader of significant to incredible intellect. So I do see a place for both toys as homage to the varied portrayals of Scorponok.

That's playing a dangerous game with the missus!:p

Size will be the deciding factor to which Scorpy I'll go for.
Don't like the face sculpt of the PE version and I'm always impressed by Maketoys' design... fingers crossed that this will be massive :)

It seems there's another product catalog out there. I must find it.

Hehe, it's a cool implementation...
...but you may not grasp how BIG it actually is!:D

Not since Masterpiece Soundwave have I wanted a figure SO bad!:eek::eek:
This thing ticks every box for me; it screams Super-Robot/Mecha, whilst being the absolute Hulkish-Tank of a Headmaster I've always envisioned Zaraku/Scorponok could be! :D:cool:

love how the tail is a decepticon symbol! this is so bad ass.. wonder what sort of cost this will be...
Trent

It will probably be priced the same as their Metroplex at $400.
That city mode is awesome. Looks totally evil

SOLD! SOLD! SOLD!!!!!!
That bot is MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!
Man... These 3P figures are definitely reinvigorating my interest back with the Transformers themed bots (notice that I did not mention Transformers ;))... As unofficial as they are.
This is what I want HTT.
No rubbery bits, sharp corners with pointy bits, SIC styled bots :D
I want this... Now to find an excuse to purchase this or my head will roll! :p

Looks about the same height as YotS Omega Supreme, but almost twice the size/chunk.

that Decepti-tail is such a nice touch. I was going to say that the giant pincer hands look quite disproportionate, but looking at the second CAD picture it looks like they are more like battle-gloves (which conceptually I really dig).
It's a buy for me!

Yeah. This is a must for me. It looks phenomenal.
Plus I hate the Energon mold arm articulation and it's a Botcon exclusive.

While I see Scorponok more as his comic incarnation as a slightly large intellectual rather than the city sized thundering brute from the cartoon and toy, this certainly captures a thunderous immensity of a city sized robot.
Really tempting, especially given I never got round to getting the G1 toy he's based on.

TFW member Daimchoc has posted pics of Pandinus which has come from a review from Toy Scope.

Quite beastly and impressive but not quite sitting right with me. Looks a bit too busy and needs more green.

Plenty more pics in the link above but no alt modes.
Probably been reading too much manga lately but I hear him yell "Pelvic beaamo!" every time i see this.

Lets be honest here Tfi isnt even operating really. from what I can gather the new site wont be operational till all the old stock is sold and everyone is refunded their money.
So basically there will be no make toys products making their way here anytime soon this year

Might be worth bringing it to make toys attention that the supplier has gone bust.

Is it to scale with the original G1 dinobots, or is it too large. I would love a Paddles for my geewuns

I dont have any G1s, so i am not sure about size. But it is slightly shorter than combiner wars devastator. but much more chunky and wide. and much much more posable. hope that helps.
