At Collector Zone today I picked up a MISB ROTF leader Megatron, a loose powermaster Optimus Prime (incomplete - anyone got any bits for sale?) and a loose ROTF Onslaught (which I discovered when I got home was missing the Bruticus head... luckily I had picked it up only for a project).
And my son picked up a MIB generations Drift.

Just got my platinum edition FoC Grimlock Vs Bruticus and wow are they pieces of shit. The plastic is terrible. If it weren't for the Bruticus upgrade kit, I never would have touched the FoC toyline.

My FoC Wreckers are terrible plastic. Some of them broke pretty much coming out of the plastic. My wave 1 bruticas and g2 version though are far superior. The plastic actually feels 'good' on them compared to the wreckers. At the very least what you said will keep me from buying the platinum set :D

I don't have any other FoC toys especially the Bruticus ones to compare quality to. but the last bunch of hasbro toys i bought would have to have been Generations Springer, Sandstorm, Blitzwing and I guess TFPrime. the plastic felt a lot better on those if I remember correctly.

Anyway, I tried transforming all 5 bots back and forth through each mode and the design is terrible. I especially hated the shoulder tabs on Blast Off - they look like they'll snap at any moment. Grimlock... well the whole set feels cheap and nasty.

Picked up deluxe Scorn from bigW cbd today, first tf in many months. This is probably my only want at this point. He just reminds me of a Jaeger in bot mode and a kaiju in dino mode. :)

Went to Melbourne on the weekend and got them at Toys R Us. The beauty was they were marked as $30 on the shelves, but when I got to the checkout they would not scan properly so the girl looked at the wrong thing in the catalog and put them through for $15 each - saved myself $45! :D

Picked up a couple of deluxes Slash, and Strafe from Toysrus. Only bought Dinobots from the movie line, my aim is buy the whole set of Dinos, all at AUS retail if possible.

Also received a parcel, and now have generations Skrapnel, Tailgate, Cosmos, and Swerve. These are great, I really hope future figures in this line see release.

Takara Autobot Data Discs, and also SG Soundwave vs SG Blaster. Nice colours love the white Soundwave, and cassette minions :D

Hound is good i like his arsenal of guns, alt mode is great as well. Only downer i have with him is that his weapons don't like staying attached in alt mode.

Galvatron has both a great alt mode and robot modes, only thing is all the hasbro grey on him. When i seen the Japanese one i thought i should have ordered it online as its way superior in the paint dept. but i had a little gunmetal grey left and touched up his face and gun. :)

nice one KaRNiV8L PRiME!! just received MP18s Silverstreak from nexusnixx ... They call him silverstreak and not just Streak ...:) so there still might be a chance of a bluestreak ....
the silver on him is quiet different from streak gunmetal colour even the silver plastic is a different colour , wish they change face alittle but it just the same ....

I think the "Silverstreak" is the better looking of the two. That looks more like Bluestreak to me, even if it's not cartoon accurate.

Impactor is probably the only good feeling one of mine. Whirl broke right out of the packaging pretty much. And Roadbuster not long after. I've only transformed each one once.

Glad you picked up Evasion Prime mate, he's a top notch figure eh! Tempted by any of the Dinobots? I've been playing around with the velociraptor tonight (forget his name), his colour scheme and overt fruitiness cracks me up. Tres flamboyant. :p
