Once again the Perth Mint is producing Legal Tender "coins" for the Fourth movie, just as they did for the Second and Third Movies.

This time they are a little different (http://www.perthmint.com.au/catalogue/transformers-age-of-extinction-2014-1oz-silver-proof-lenticular-three-coin-pack.aspx), as the coins are rectangular, and have a lenticular image on one side (with the Queen's head on the other).

There will be three 1-ounce silver coins - Optimus, Bumblebee, Lockdown.

Their currency value is $1 in Tuvalu, but the set of three are selling for AU$315 (with free shipping if your order is over $400).

Limit of 5000 of each. They come in a special display box and with a certificate of authenticity.

The link has some nice gifs at the bottom of the page, of the three coins lenticular images.

I bought these when the 2007 movie came out. Is there any indication that they've increased in value since then?

Did they produce coins for all three previous movies?

BTW, a lot of Post Offices stock the various Perth Mint coins, so if you don't trust the Post office posting stuff, ask your local post office if they can get them in for you.

I believe so but I'm pretty sure they used the same designs each time.

Copied from the Perth Mint website:

Lockdown

In the original animated series, The Transformers, he was an Autobot CyberNinja who trained under Yoketron, before being banished for betraying him. Lockdown later returned to kill Yoketron as his first job as a bounty hunter

Lol wat?

Spoilers!

I think that's revealed in either Prowl's prewar flashback episode or one of the almanacs.

I know... I had trouble writing that up in a serious format.

I first started out with - If you don't trust the post office, go to the post office.
