Looking forward to completing the not Throttlebots, but I do think that the one listed in the pic above as Freeway is in fact also Goldbug.

Can't say I've been a fan of anything of theirs so far. I had a Hardbone (hehe) and sold it do to being underwhelmed. I have been tempted by Orion, but Classics Prime serves the purpose.

hmm... (http://tformers.com/toyworld-not-throttlebots-combined-form-revealed/24199/news.html) Glad the other members were not scrapped.

Looks like Goldbug might fold into back-filler the same way the Micromaster Six-member-combiners did.

Freeway looks great. I'm glad they chose to go with a different type of chest for him.

Lots of parts, and seemingly no where to hide them? Also his hips look a bit thin.

Don't like the center bot. He should have been made a dump truck if he is to be that big.

At least that finalizes the combiner enigma ;)

I don't like how the others are road cars and the centre one looks like a military vehicle, its not cohesive.

Glad to see they are going to complete the team. The combiner mode looks ok, but as long as the individual toys aren't compromised it's just a little icing on the cake rather than the cake itself. Chase and Freeway look as if they've been scaled up a little as they are quite large cars, though I do like how Goldbug is the smallest.

Apparently the Knight XV (http://www.conquestvehicles.com/knight-xv.html) the centre bots alt-mode is available as an armoured luxury civilian vehicle in the US. I guess it's the new Hummer for people who want to soak up as much of the road as possible. At least his G1 name seems to fit.

A dump truck would have been nice given the original toy, although unless he was less exciting mini dump truck, in order to get a decent size he would need to be twice his current size at least. Wideload was always the Blast-off or Groove of his team, that guy who's clearly in a different scale to the rest of his team.

I must admit his vehicle mode probably makes more sense for a robot called a Throttlebot, though a dumptruck would still have been cooler for the G1 factor.

I do enjoy these, I have the first 2 releases and I am impressed with their design. The big vehicle does indeed look out of place, but I actually find it quite humorous to be honest. I can't say I don't like it, but when everything is combined, wow it looks great :D I don't think a dump truck would work with the overall concept, but would probably make a lot more people interested in this set. Good on them for having a go to make something a little bit different.

That's why I am not too fond of the current choice. Plus I never cared for a combining gimmick so if they changed the alt mode to incorporate that, it's more annoying.

A dump truck wouldn't have made sense in this lineup. These alt-modes are all commercially available street vehicles that... and here's the cool thing, are pretty much in scale with each other! That in itself is a pretty impressive feat and hammering it because it's not a dump truck is unfair when a dump truck was a silly choice for a "throtllebot" in the first place.

I'm still not getting these though.

I think that what looks to be an armored car looks even more out of place. Yeah a dump truck does not follow the same sequence as the other bot but it's just as out of place as a disproportionately large armored vehicle. At least with the dump truck, there is G1 legacy value and if he was to be made bigger, it makes more sense.

They've been pretty accurate with colours for the first 3. I wonder if they're going to make not-Wide Load bright orange with some blue on the hood.

I am thinking his is going to end up looking like that Hotshot mold Universe Roadbuster repaint.

Some blue on the roof would be better for both vehicle and combiner mode.

I tend to agree that this alt mode for Wideload makes more sense size wise with the rest of the line than a dump truck would, even though that would be more G1. A luxury SUV kind of fits for the largest strongest Throttlebot who is known for his constant preening.

Toyworld's not-Snarl and not-Sludge (http://tformers.com/toyworld-dinobots-new-images-of-not-sludge-not-snarl-including-robot-modes/24379/news.html).

They're going head to head with FP again! I hope this spurs FP into producing their main LER line with gold chrome parts rather than only limiting gold chroming to convention exclusives.

This is good for me. I want to see all the Dinobots from each compnay before I decide which ones to get.
How many companies are making Dinobots and what scale are they (roughly)?
FP are CHUG aren't they?

FP are CHUG voyager and it looks like these are CHUG voyager too. Bullsfire, Fanstoys and Gigapower are MP. TFC were going to have a deluxe class dinobot combiner team, but decide not to and gave the designs to a Chinese company to release under their line of toys (I believe it's a line with their own cartoon in China? I think?)

Just the angles alone on Columpio's chest instill far more confidence than these.

Got my TW Orion yesterday. Soooooo happy with him. I honestly didn't think I'd like him this much, especially in alt mode, but I have to admit, alt mode looks pretty good in hand. All the "in-hand" pics I've seen really made me disappointed with the alt mode, but I've been pleasantly surprised that it didn't turn out to be the case. He also has a nice heft for something purely plastic, but I gotta say, the transformation is absolute arse. Basically the only negative for me is the transformation.

Yeah he is a bit of a challenge for the few transformations. But once you get how it goes its easy :D Love toyworld stuff. Never disappointing.

There's a big Energon Barricade vibe coming from Sideload; even the combiner head resembles Energon Bruticus' (http://www.seibertron.com/transformers-toys/view/energon/bruticus-maximus/354/1/42/). The combiner parts does a bit of cheating: so far it doesn't look like the parts can be attached anywhere on the alt-modes; and the combiner head is on an entirely separate piece - much like the Transformers Go! kabuto 'helms' (http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Kenzan). The parts that comes with Shinebug also makes a $25 price difference from the other 4 limb figures. However, the finished combined mode looks super sturdy (check out the shoulder articulation), and each combiner member are arguably left with their first two modes without being hindered by the combiner gimmick (for those that simply just want their CHUG Throttlebots).

Chimungmung has listed Expressway with an ETA for next month, whilst the other two are due for April 2015.

Edit: Went through ToyWorld's website (http://www.toyworld.jp/) and noticed an Ultra Magnus-like silhouette (http://www.toyworld.jp/cms_item.php?id=21). Here's hoping for an IDW iteration to go alongside Orion?

The combined mode is a little better than I expected, not surprised it's not very integrated though as to me it's an afterthought considering the first two had no real combiner elements.

But anyway I really like the look of Wideload and Goldbug all coloured up, the Wideload homage works even better than I expected so for me it's a win just to have a complete set of nottlebots. everyone else may be going on about various 3rd party MP's, but I just want a complete homage to G1 1987 in CHUG like toys.

I agree, I would like G1 inspired CHUG stuff so I would only be interested in not-Rollbar and not-Wideload. The others aren't close to any G1 stuff for my liking. I don't really care if they combine.

Ordered these guys through TFIDownunder.

The first 3 are some of the best CHUG cars in my collection, can't wait to finish the set - individually, the G1 reference is a bit light on, but all standing next to each other, the colour combination sells it.

The combined mode is just an added bonus really.

Any movement on the Cliffjumper repaint (remold? can't remember if there's a new head involved) of Shinebug that we saw at one of the cons last year?

I'd be mad into that. The rest of the set, not so much.
